Pretty fun early access game to goof around in with friends. Heres a few things tho that it could def improve it to make it rightaway a million times better -Volume sliders dont work right now -Sounds are kinda broken right now -Its a bit too dark to see much, especially in the starter house -The pixelated effect is cool, but a tiny bit too extreme. around 10 meters away everything is hard to see, and thats when im already on 1440p Nontheless, fun game. Hope the dev keeps working on it
Simple Zombie Survival is exactly the kind of straightforward wave shooter that I can jump into without much preparation. The premise is simple. I choose a loadout, enter the arena and start mowing down zombies while trying to survive as long as possible. I liked that immediate focus because the game wastes very little time before putting me into the action. The shooting is fast and satisfying, with a large selection of weapons covering different play styles. I enjoyed switching between weapons and working out which ones felt best against the different waves. Perks and power ups also give me additional ways to improve my character during a run, so I am not simply relying on the same weapon from beginning to end. The random upgrade system between waves is a nice touch. I can use the game's slot style system to gamble on what kind of upgrade I will receive, which adds a little uncertainty to the progression. I liked that because it creates moments where I have to adapt to what I get instead of always following the same upgrade path. The game also has a deliberately silly personality. Mr Hotdog and the colorful cybernetic zombie slaying theme keep the atmosphere from becoming too serious. I enjoyed that contrast because there is plenty of violence and zombie gore, but the presentation still feels more like an arcade game than a grim horror experience. My biggest issue is that the game is still in Early Access and currently feels like a foundation rather than a finished package. The basic wave combat is enjoyable, but I wanted more map variety and more developed progression to keep longer sessions interesting. Some planned features also suggest that the game is still being built around its current core rather than having reached its final form. The cooperative option is another major strength. Fighting through the waves with other people makes the chaos much more entertaining, especially when the enemies start appearing from every direction. I also think the score chasing side of the game works better when I have someone else to compete with, because survival becomes about more than simply staying alive. Overall, Simple Zombie Survival is a fun arcade shooter with a solid foundation. I liked the fast gunplay, random upgrades and goofy presentation, while the cooperative mode gives the core loop more energy. It needs more content and polish before it can feel truly complete, but for a free wave shooter there is enough here to have a good time. Rating: 7.3/10

the game is fun but then the hot dog man is invincible and you just die kinda sucks.

BEST GAME EVER MADE, I WILL DROP 80$ FOR THIS WHEN IT FULLY COMES OUT
This might be a contender for game of the year. There is nothing better than this game this should be $60 plus $30 DLC on top of all of it. 10/10 would simple zombie again
Not a bad game for being free! Lots of places you can get out of the map or where zombies cant reach you (can honestly be nice for AFK). Definitely enjoy the look of the 3d game with a pixelated environment. unique vintage sound effects of certain weapons is also nice. most of the settings sliders don't work and some of the in game weapons need their audio balanced. for free? this is an easy 8/10, i dont see any unique concepts or lots of content yet, but the simplistic round based zombies vibe never gets old. Would love to see some simple objectives and hear the purchase sounds! Edit: The bleedout timer could be longer as well as the default revive speed not taking as long,
w game no updates tho
