About
Reggie the vampire is dognapping puppies and must be stopped! As Van Helsing, embark on a journey around the world to rescue the pups: from haunted mansions and museums to ghoulish graveyards, each stage is packed with unique challenges to overcome and secrets to discover.
Man's Best Friend: Van Helsing's faithful hound Silver can be summoned during stages to attack enemies - and even drive vehicles?! Any baddies hit with Silver will drop delicious bonus items that boost your score, so make the most of your canine pal's help.

Unlock & Upgrade: Grab gold coins hidden in stages to buy power-ups that will aid you in your quest. Collect enough coins to unlock the extra puzzle game mode Terror Blocks! Bonus items collected, challenges completed and secret items uncovered all count towards your progress to unlock extra weapons, from a zombie shredding shotgun to the devastating rocket launcher!

Top Dog: Arcade Mode and Terror Blocks both have online leaderboards, allowing you to track your progress and compete for the best score. And for those who'd rather show off their skills live, the game's low memory footprint keeps streams silky smooth.

Control & Conquer: With game design based on "Cabal Shooters" like Wild Guns Reloaded, Silver Bullet has extensive control customisation. Play with modern twin stick aiming or classic single stick using a gamepad, go retro with an arcade stick or focus on precision with a keyboard and mouse.

Old-school Cool: With personality filled pixel art, customisable retro screen filters and spooky synth-pop bops from the legendary YM2612 chip, Silver Bullet looks and sounds like a long-lost 16-bit classic.

Sums Steam only; Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Really great game. Getting the high score increase with accuracy and trying to squeeze more points is insanely fun and keeps you wanting to come back to get higher on the leaderboards.
Really satisfying arcade game with a lot of variety in each level. Feels good to play with an arcade stick. Definitely worth checking out for people who like shoot em' ups and retro/arcade games.
Unique shooter with a lot of variety and imagination. Every level feels different with new enemy types and secrets. Aiming while dodging is hard, and the screen feels very cramped with the so many big enemies and bullets. Do not use a gamepad. Aiming is much easier with a mouse and keyboard.

Before RE4, Gears of War and Fortnite, this - aka crosshair/gallery shooters - is what 3rd person shooters looked like. Silver Bullet pays tribute to classics like Cabal, Wild Guns and Sin & Punishment while maintaining its own identity. Overall, it's an excellent time whether you want a fun bus ride romp or high score chaser.
Good gameplay, great artstyle, great music and lots of fun
I give this developer props for accurately nailing the feel of a late 80s arcade gallery shooter. And it's full of fun ideas from stage to stage. I enjoyed blasting dinosaur skeletons to smithereens. The challenges/unlocks are a cute idea to extend longevity too. I'm not sure if I'd dive back in anytime soon, but I enjoyed it for what it is.
Silver Bullet is a fantastic and charming arcade shooter that's easy to pick up and hard to put down. It looks great, plays well and is just the right amount of challenging. The music is great, the different graphics modes give you multiple ways to experience the same game, and it's overall just a fun package. I bought this as part of a bundle, but I would absolutely pay full price for it, and I intend to 100% it .
SpidersSTG recommended this and it's amazing. You can probably tell if you are going to like this by the screenshots. Incredible stuff, Bubble Bobble meets Point Blank meets Wild Guns meets Mars Matrix meets..... I could go on but you get the idea. It's genius! I played Mouse and Keyboard, works great! Buy it :)
A short, but super-fun arcadey game with really nice retro aesthetics. Really replayable and no stage is exactly the same, which is good. The scoring mechanic is super-satisfying. Big plus for being able to play the game without any scanlines or CRT filters, but those are there, if you're into that stuff.
gives you that feeling of being in the arcade again its fun and visually pleasing
