The atmosphere is realistic. However, other aspects of the game were mediocre. The storytelling and pacing were below average, and I had to backtrack through the same areas repeatedly just to obtain the first key. The voice acting was ok but sounded unnatural and monotonous. There were also a few bugs; for instance, at one point the objective was to put firewood into the fireplace, but the interaction wouldn't trigger when I tried to pick up the wood. Yet, as soon as I found the lighter, I was able to light the fireplace without actually adding the firewood. I found this game not worth it and too boring to continues so I stopped :(

The concept of the game is great, but it fails in its execution, you have many points to improve and I don't like to be rude to an indie horror game developer, since they are my favorite type of games, but I hope this is taken as advice to improve and not as something bad, so here I go: First the music, the constant sound of the clock running and the music advancing quickly creates a perfect atmosphere of despair, the first few times, then it becomes repetitive and makes even key jumpscare moments lose the scare since one already thinks it's a thing of the music. Second the dialogues, I'm not a native English speaker, so I'm not one to talk about accents and such, my only complaint has been that the dialogues feel like you're reading a book and not like an acting, that can be improved or there are even tools today that allow you to reach those results. Third, the translation, in my case the translation to Spanish, as I said before I am not a native English speaker, so I decided to play it in my language, so it was easier for my audience to understand the game, the worst decision I could have made, I understand and appreciate that they include some languages, even more so if it is the one I speak, but a lot of the meaning of sentences and even the story, menu and even missions were lost because the translations were weird, for example for the Basement photo the translation was changed to Metro, when it should be "Sotano". Fourth, the hitbox of some objects, sometimes it was difficult to interact with some objects in the game, sometimes the objects were not shown available to interact in the center of the screen, but a little lower and other times, the interaction appeared to one side of the center. Fifth, take the player by the hand. Although exploration is appreciated, sometimes it is difficult to find objects or the path, for example, the photographs that appear after an event. A good sign for the future is to place a warning, whether visual, sound or even text, if the player spends a lot of time looking for something. Some players are more attentive to that, others are not. The rest are things that will be improved as more games are created. As I said at the beginning, the concept is great. They just have to polish the execution. The camera mechanics seemed like a great and original idea to me, and the ghost did give me a couple of scares. I hope that these words are taken as a way to improve, build and continue making more games. I wish the best to the developers and despite everything, I will be waiting for their future games.
