fun game
snappy movement inconstant parry timing for the same attacks
This is a great game, with a life/death system I haven’t seen before. It can be hard to understand at first, but when you realize how it works, the game opens up and makes replaying levels mandatory to get better. They are fast and short, but it’s intended, I suppose. The major point of the game is the combat system. It’s crazy that this was made by a single dev. Great work! The combat feels hard but rewarding at the same time. Unlocking new skills is essential, learning combos, and the distinction between dodging and parrying is even more important. The replayability of the game is good, and you can put hundreds of hours into perfecting each run and movement. Hope to see a Sifu 2 one day.
