Fantastic puzzle game. If the premise interests you at all absolutely pick it up.
It's a pretty laid-back puzzle game, works well as a secondary distraction.
At this point, I've lost track of how long ago I got this game and how long I've played it. I mean, yes, Steam tells me a number of hours, but that's been spread out over almost every day for the last... two years? Maybe more? I've actually lost count. The reason for that is, this game is a great way to wind down at the end of the day, by way of a clever idea for the kind of puzzle that wouldn't be out of place in a newspaper-- and I mean that as a compliment. If you want to chill with some intelligent word-puzzles, then I can only sing this game's praises.

Sidewords is a solid casual puzzle game with word puzzles of varying sizes and, thus, difficulties. I'm well pleased by there not being any timers or time limits, at least in the basic levels or daily challenges. It would be nice to have some Steam achievements in the game, but not every game has to have them implemented - I just have to remind myself of the fact every now and then. ;)
An easy to understand concept that lends itself very well as a simple puzzle game, even a little bit of learning thrown in for some obscure, useful words. No worries about running out of content either, thanks to the daily challenges. My only complaint is I wish the dictionary were a bit more accepting. As another reviewer stated, achievements would be a nice addition as well. Gladly picked this up both on Steam and Android (iOS available too) as it's a nice puzzler at a great price.
Fun little word game. It's nice to have something to kill 5 or 10 minutes. This avid crossword solver approves! Edit: took me about 10 hours to get the trophies, at which point the only thing to do is dailies. Which should still be about 5 minutes a day every day. Not a bad value.
If you're a fan of word games I can highly recommend this one. Simple concept with a nice execution, very enjoyable and relaxing. Played through the 'campaign' of levels and ~30 of the daily generating puzzles, got 19 hours worth of gameplay. You can cheese some of the levels by using 2 letter words, but found ways to solve them without doing so in nearly all the puzzles. If this looks like your cup of tea give it a try!
This game is fun and easy to learn. The game also lets you adjust the size of the window, so you can multitask on the same screen. I bought the game on sale for $1, and if you enjoy word games, it's certainly worth that price. $5 is about a fair price, since you get two games.
This game is great for when you have a puzzle itch, but only a few minutes to spare. I agree with the reviewer Tweak that a customizable dictionary would be great. Other than that I really love it.
A bit too reliant on guessing as opposed to puzzle solving, but very fun.
