Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is #18/273 in my steam games backlog. I'm not gonna personally recommend this game, I actually do like turnbased combat, and the warplanes part of it is interesting. But after playing for a bit it doesn't feel more complex than a basic board game. I feel like you may like this if you grew up in this specific era of pc games, I'm pretty sure this is the late 90s or early 2000s. Especially if you have very dad like tastes (aka you like to think of WW2 for fun). Otherwise, I think most people would be better off playing another Sid Meier game, or a more famous turn based game from the 90s.
Just great strategic Fun. Sid always makes a great game.

Es mejor el Ace Patrol, pero bueno, como las dos horas del anterior se quedan cortas, este añade dos horas más, muy recomendable, ya no se hacen juegos así, entretenidos y sencillos
First of all: I review this game 13 years after release. It is quite old in game-years. However it could be quite of fun, even it is a reskin of the first Ace Patrol. So far what i have found: In the first Ace Patrol you have a choice which patrol you want to fly. So if you feel not comfortable to fly this mission, you fly that one instead. This is not possible in this game. So, this game is quite a fun to play. Why i am giving a negative review? Because this game lacks a autosave and it crashes quite often, has more stutters in loading screens than the predecessor. Also it is a 2K game, so this is a negative point for me aswell. If you are willing to accept all the above, then 5 bucks or less will be sufficent for this game.
Ripped out the code from the first air patrol and put out this trash which doesn't even work correctly half the time. just play the first one.
this game has decently thrilling battle engagements. The dogfights are intense and demand strategic maneuvering, with every encounter feeling like a high-stakes chess match in the sky depending on the difficulty you play on lol. The game strikes a balance between accessibility for newcomers and depth for veterans, ensuring that players are consistently engaged. While the missions can occasionally feel repetitive, the excitement of outmaneuvering enemies and delivering precise strikes keeps the adrenaline flowing. It's a must-try for fans of aerial combat rts games.
Love all of Sid Meier's games
