this game is absolutely beautiful. a really good choices matter game, if you like that style dont let the cute stuff fool you!
I liked this one. The art style and color is refreshing, as is the watercolor look. My eyes never tired of looking at the maps or characters. The story is a blend of things, almost taking the rpg idea but making realistic outcomes for side characters and the like and how that would truly unfold. It's sweet that the village comes together if you do everything right. Again, give this one a go if you want something aesthetically different to what you're used to, but only if you have a good sense of humor. I laughed a lot with the cat on the cliff, my gosh. This is for the open minded for sure, lol.

One of very RPGMaker games that I would absolutely recommend that everyone tries. Wonderful writing, incredible art and fantastic music make for a truly unique experience.
Although this game is short its definitely worth buying. The visuals are beautiful and it upholds a solid story about an abusive family. Characters are well introduced and have charming personalities all in their own way. Another thing to say is the humor this game upholds as its very well done. I found myself laughing all the way through as the game constantly dishes out humorous dialogues/dialogue choices (perhaps a bit too much).
A short visual novel style rpg maker game about two adventurers who end up in a mysterious village. Per: -weird complex characters - multiple endings - funny as well as dark moments -good music, sound effects as well as artstyle Cons: -few pictures depicting the topics of conversation -little places to explore -lack of variety in gameplay
First cleared in 1.9 hours, but I guess replay will be meaningful to see possible other dialogues or endings. Of course, art is great and lovely, which can be the enough sole reason to play this game.
The artwork is what grabbed me from the trailers and screenshots - and it's great the whole way through. A really cool and unique take on how to illustrate a game. A little bit more animation would have really made the game pop, but it was still gorgeous. Each character has their own set of unique problems and personalities that makes them feel distinctly alive and real. Yurt is probably my favorite, despite his mysteries never being revealed. Overall, the game is too short! My playthrough clocked in at around an hour and a half. Most notably, I would have wanted to spend more time in the dream world, but there is so much going on in this world (motorcycles, magic, electric guitars, skeletons...) we need way more time to dig into it all. The dialogue is clearly well-crafted and there are quite a few lines that will make you laugh. The 'battle' with Mittens was perhaps my favorite portion ("You better believe it"). The dialogue trees are well done, but ultimately I didn't feel like the player had enough agency to alter how the story plays out.
I love how this game looks, its music and the whole atmosphere. I played it once, so I cant say much how the playthroughs differs. But what I got impressed me by not staying away from some difficult themes and it made me even tear up at one point. I will definitely replay it a few times more, to see what secrets it holds.
