About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

Great game for those preferring to tidy up their PC instead of IRL :) like me. I definitely recommend it to anyone who already liked this kind of games. The only feature I miss is sorting the stack of items on hand. Some games have it, others do not, for reasons unknown.

A wonderful game to relax with. Maps, items, and designs are varied which keeps things interesting, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite sorting/tidying games
Scratched that itch to organise without being too complicated. Gutted there are only 3 level as very very very much enjoyed this game
Hat mich nicht überzeugt weder mit Grafik noch mit Handhabung da gibts andere die wesentlich angenehmer zu spielen sind
Way too addicting. I've started having to set alarms to not over-strain my eyes and hands (see below) because it's so hard to not just want to put away a few more items, then just a few more, and then.... Couple actual gripes: Major) The controls feel loose and even with horizontal sensitivity turned to max turning feels sluggish. It's not game breaking, but on KB+M my hands fatigue playing this much faster than ARPG/MMO/FPS. This feels like it needs another pass, though maybe it's better w a controller. Minor) Shelf labels could be a tad bigger. Very hard to read even on a 25" screen though for the most part I'm going off visual ID of the items anyway. The visual diversity is mostly quite well done. Minor) I did the first map without using any magic only to discover I'd unlocked the opportunity to redo the map with no magic for an achievement. Just have the achievements available from the start?
I really enjoyed this game. The developers clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it, especially the names! I laughed several times! Also all the items, especially the potions and weapons, have really distinct looks that have clearly been carefully crafted. Only a couple minor issues - using my mouse wheel to scroll through the items list is backwards - up moves the list down, down moves the list up. And some of the potions have the same name despite being different objects. Now, back to trying to organise these potions in a way I am happy with!
This game is very fun. I enjoy that they give us three different shops and multiple ways to play each shop. The detail on the items is nice as well.
Cozy, simple, and charming. It's everything you could expect or want from a game like this, and the developer seems to be very active and quick to respond and integrate player feedback. I'm glad to have bought it, and got more than my money's worth already. The only complaint I could possibly have is that the music gets a little repetitive. An option to have the tracks shuffle and cycle on their own instead of waiting for you to smack the harp would be appreciated, but it wouldn't entirely fix it. Especially since turning the music off reveals how otherwise silent the game is (no ambience, only the sound of interactions). BUT given what kind of game this is, I'd say it's almost expected that you have something else playing as you play it. Which I did. It wasn't that big of a problem, but it's worth noting.
