About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

love it
Lovely organization game. If you like Librarian, you'll like this one. I appreciate the easter eggs in the item names with even some nods to the Game Grumps and TMNT.

Among the "find and sort" games out there now... this one has a few unique QoL features others do not, and has multiple levels of difficulty available. Overall I think it's a stronger title in the category, but has some pitfalls that are hard to overcome at the end of the day. First, the good: -Plenty of interesting items and cool ideas here. -Abilities can make life much easier if you are playing a magic run. -The variety of items lends a sort of "order" to how you want to sort stuff and what things to focus first, so there are some items that are logically and practically easier to sort first, such as the big ore pieces and the weapons. This makes earning your first few upgrades a bit easier. The Bad: -The Books. Holy crap the Books. There are books in this you have to sort, and they absolutely suck. First, most look so similar, they might as well have the same texture. Second, Many of the books do not have titles that match the texture/name on the actual book. Third, several books series have almost identical titles, but for some subtitle or parenthesis. (Such as "The Book of Magic" and "The Book of Magic (Revised)", and "The Book of Magic (Revised Again)". ) Funny, but annoying in ways that cannot be explained in mere words. -Hard Mode Potions. Holy crap. There's like 1500 potions in the hardest mode. It took half the time of the run just doing the potions... and they were the last thing I did in earnest... (I cheesed the books with abilities). Overall? It's good. I put 16 hours in it just goofing off. Worth the money. Is it the best sorting game out there? Not quite. Its okay, and you get what's on the box. 7/10. Would start a new game and watch my PC groan for eight seconds while the game spawns in 4500 Physics affected items and drops them from the air.
Fun cozy game with cute little references. Would love a power that puts the items in your hand in alphabetical order but I may be trying to be Too organized :)
Whilst there is a boom of Tidy Up style games as of late much like the Simulator games before it. Shelves and Sorcery is perhaps one of the best you can buy right now, each of the three maps offer their own enjoyment with increase amount of items and clutter to sort around. Having to replay the same three maps four times total may annoy some, I saw it as a way to unwind and relax whilst shutting my brain off to clean and sort out various items. Some of the book titles are also witty, with a few references included too. With 8 skills to choose from split between Magic ability and Utility improvements, a soundtrack that ranges from disney like to bazaar style themes which can be changed in game by the interaction of a Harp. Overall if you like a game you can just relax, fixate your attention and pass time to. You can't really gone wrong with this one.
Not too different from other tidy games but it has some nice differences. - The skill that sends everything in your hand flying back onto the correct shelf even if you have a mix of items is a GODSEND. - I really enjoy the challenge of the no-skill levels. - I disagree with other folks about the annoyance of using the same items between levels, because there's enough of an expansion on the items that it still feels fresh, and I personally like having the continuity so I know how I'm going to sort the same items in a larger level. A few gripes: - I would really like the book covers fixed to show the correct titles, or use different assets and/or titles. - I wish there was a little less randomization when using the "Shelve All" skill with items you haven't yet shelved.
The best sorting game since Librarian. This game has three different beautiful magic shops with different challenge modes, or just a regular, untimed cozy mode for your peaceful sorting needs.
