Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Welcome to 2045. The long struggle between people and corporations left the megacorps as overlords, ruling over the broken remnants of humanity huddled together in vast urban sprawls. But with no law or government beyond corporate boards, the underworld thrives. You are a Shell Runner using lifelike Shells to carry out wet work for anyone willing to pay.
Shell Runner is a top-down tactical shooter hybridized with looter shooter and extraction games. Every run can make you rich - but lose your Shell and you lose all that. Experience high-risk runs as a solo merc - or find allies and face the seedy underbelly of a dystopian future in cooperative mode.

Shells are remotely controlled bodies that blur the line between man and machine. Take control of one of over 20 Shells, from disposable everyman models for low-tier mercs to specialized high-tech Shells for corporate assassins and shock troops. But be careful: Lose a Shell on a mission and it's gone - together with all the gear, loot, and Silicon credits you managed to pilfer from other unfortunates living in the shadows of the corps.

Life's cheap and brutal in the sprawl. You're always outnumbered and outgunned and even a lowly thug can flatline your Shell in seconds if you don't play it smart. Plan ahead and outfit your Shell with an arsenal of melee weapons, firearms, and explosives. Fine-tune stats thanks to a multitude of modifiers. Then head in to complete your contract. Stay on your toes, plan your attack, and hit your targets where they least expect it.

No two runs are the same. Every mission is a procedurally-generated map, combining hand-crafted boss encounters with unpredictable randomness, ensuring no two runs are the same. Every Shell and item comes with random modifiers, meaning every contract is a risk - but also an opportunity. One job in the slums might leave you barely breaking even - the next one might make you break the bank. So get to work, Shell Runner, Silicon won’t earn itself!

Filled with bugs, multiplayer missions barely works half of the time, gameplay loop get boring after the first district clear cause its just the same thing over and over. i wouldnt recommend it in its current state but hopefully with more fixes maybe it could change
The game was fun for a little bit in the early build but now the enemies AI is kinda broken where they have gods eyes and see you off screen and if aggro they see you thru walls and the melee is kinda useless. The random generate stages are kinda busted too where some stages got a just the amount of enemies or just flooded with a army of bad guys. I had a 2 star mission where i spawn in the center was surrounded with a least 30 enemies and the 5 enemies that was a front of my door all had smgs and grenades and it ended so fast lol. That happen 2 more times with the bad stage RNG with packed full of bad guys and i couldn't recover cause all i had was the 2 stars mission and the enemies all had better weapons and most of the gunners always have grenades. I have played about 25hrs of this game and don't recommend this game where it sits now.

it's hard to actually say that i don't recommend Shell Runners because it has a solid foundation, it is just missing the flavor a little bit of story can offer. the base game is pretty fun, but progression gets slow without adding any new challenges after the first zone. you keep repeating the same mission types while grinding to upgrade your preferred items and shells. the game is not too difficult once you get the hang of it, and some of the bosses are easy to cheese. there isn't really any story to speak of. I've encountered a few bugs where missions were completed but didn't register and a few other minor issues like being able to teleport outside the map. if you enjoy the grind, you might find more replay value here than i did.
You need to make the game actually pause when you're in your inventory. I've lost such good equipment because someone sneaks up while I'm fitting things in my inventory. That is beyond stupid and infuriating dying in such a bs way and losing everything every time.
Good game. Needs a bit more content or a different mode.
Really nice little game. I dig the extraction shooter cyberpunk aesthetics and have enjoyed it in single player. Things to polish the game/sequel: -Incorporate a crouch mechanic (like the Ascent) so one can still shoot behind cover -Show ability cooldowns more prominently, like have the ability countdown icon transparent around the player -Ability to pause or slo-mo in single player -When changing camera (double right-click), keep the cursor facing forward, instead of staying where the cursor was -Zoom in to appreciate character model and gear (CTRL+mouse wheel) -Add reloading animation -Add doodads in map to make them more dynamic (doors on walls, etc) -Add some sort of hacking a door/safe/security guns network/etc. to incorporate more cyberpunk themes Fix some bugs: -Had an item just copy itself over when removing it from its implant slot. Had to restart to fix it It just needs more playtesting and this could go a long way. It's still a fun game to get when on sale To the dev: keep it up!
This abandoned crap is utter ♥♥♥♥. Don't waste your money
