A cartoony and colorful 2.5D platformer.

It's a nice little time killer. Liked the style.
Мне понравилась игра. Было интересно в неё играть, своеобразные управление и геймплей и 2.5D тоже прикольно сделано. Правда я в игре один раз словил баг и улетел за текстуры. хD А так советую поиграть.
Nice little platformer, had some interesting concepts and just enough difficulty for me. 5 out of 2.5d (where d=2)

免费游戏,非常好。
its the best game in world, they should get a point shop :]
its not that creative or fun, it's just more platformer slop.
"Shattered Slime" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This platformer is at least rendered in 3D, although the gameplay still takes place on a 2D plane, and frankly, it's not good gameplay. This is no Hollow Knight. It does feature a state change gimmick as you control a slime that can turn to water/whatever, but this has been done before by far better games. The technical implementation is on par with all of that, which is to say, not good at all. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The graphics aren't great, low poly 3D stuff and simplistic, uninspired low res assets. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 12 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Pass on this one. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.
Great concept, great execution, and it's surprisingly challenging. The cuteness of the slime just makes it sadder when you get shattered. Great job!
it was okay but I was having trouble jumping onto the first platform in level 3.
