About
Shadow Warrior 2 is the stunning evolution of Flying Wild Hog’s offbeat first-person shooter following the further misadventures of former corporate shogun Lo Wang. Now surviving as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world, the formidable warrior must again wield a devastating combination of guns, blades, magic and wit to strike down the demonic legions overwhelming the world. Battle alongside allies online in four-player co-op or go it alone in spectacular procedurally-generated landscapes to complete daring missions and collect powerful new weapons, armor, and arcane relics of legend.
Five years have passed since Lo Wang shattered the alliance between his deceitful former boss and the ancient gods of the shadow realm. Despite noble intentions, Lo Wang’s efforts to annihilate the darkness corrupted the world, creating a strange and savage new order where humans and demons live side by side.
The once feared warrior now lives in the shifting wildlands outside the reach of his enemies and the neon glow of Zilla’s cybernetic metropolis, scratching out a meager existence as a hired sword for the local Yakuza clans. When a simple mission goes wrong, Lo Wang is drawn into a volatile conflict between a brilliant young scientist, his nemesis Orochi Zilla, and the demonic forces that have become unsettled in our world. The sharp-tongued hero must once again wield lethal blades, staggering firepower, and archaic magic to purge the world of evil.
Blades and Bullets: Lo Wang delivers his own brand full throttle brutality with an expanded array of over 70 lethal blades and explosive firearms to overcome the demonic opposition. Become a whirlwind of steel and blood with razor sharp katana, short swords, crescent blades, and hand claws or unleash a hellish symphony of ornate firearms to decimate your enemies.
Four Player Co-Op: Battle through the expansive campaign alone or team up as a four-player typhoon of destruction online in campaign co-op mode. Tackle challenging primary missions or thrilling side quests while maintaining your own ninja style with customizable armor, items, and valuable loot from your triumphs.
Procedural Environments: The breach between the human and demon realms created an interdimensional hernia resulting in constant shifts to the world of Shadow Warrior 2. Procedurally generated landscapes and paths bring new twists and turns to once familiar terrain and routine missions.
Brutal Damage System: Choose your weapon based on the situation at hand and then dismantle everything that stands in your path with an advanced gore system. Use precision blade strikes to separate limbs and heads or switch to heavy ordinance and blow a hole right through colossal beasts.
Custom Upgrade System: Upgrade weapons in your arsenal with up to three stones at once to improve performance or augment them with devastating elemental effects. Collect karma, amulets, and armor to enhance Lo Wang’s power and shift his death-dealing artistry into overdrive.
The Shadow Warrior series started back in the 90s with Shadow Warrior Classic that was remastered and released on Steam by Devolver Digital and 3D Realms as Shadow Warrior Classic Redux. Then in 2013, Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital released the bold reimagining of the legend of Lo Wang with the modern classic Shadow Warrior.

Great game, lots of funny references, Alot of slashing demons or shooting them in the head. Fun story, too bad they fumbled 3... Absolutely worth a play, either alone or with friends.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

By far this is the best Shadow Warrior ever made out of all of them. The first one in the 90s is the first one i played at 10 years old or so. I loved it at the time but it may not hold up to current standards gamers expect though. The first remake was ok and worth a playthrough, but the 2nd one was GODLIKE and NEEDS MORE CONTENT.. PLEASE? The 3rd one was an absolute garbage fest. Its nothing more than a tiny arena to arena shooter? Instead of the absolute amazing open worlds the 2nd one had? Plus you can actually swing the melee weapons with your controller or mouse in custom directions in the 2nd one and it caused unique slices! You cant do that in 3. Coming from some one that has been a gamer since the Atari. This goes down as a game I will probably continue to come back to again and again. My wife and I are on playthrough 3 and it looks like the game is built for dozens if you continue to play it. I'm so beyond sad they haven't made more DLC for this game. I'd gladly pay for it.
I've completed Shadow Warrior 2 at least five times across different accounts, which probably says more about how much I enjoy the game than anything else. The combat is where the game truly shines. Gunplay feels fast and satisfying, melee combat is excellent and switching between different weapons never gets old. Every weapon has its own role, so I constantly found myself swapping between firearms and melee weapons depending on the situation. The katana, in particular, feels much better to use than melee weapons in most first-person shooters. Wang also has access to a handful of special abilities, such as Chi-Blast and Grip of Darkness, but they feel like useful bonuses rather than mechanics the game constantly forces you to rely on. One small detail I especially enjoy is how powerful the explosive barrels feel. Luring a large group of enemies into an area filled with barrels before setting off a chain of explosions never gets old. They deal meaningful damage instead of feeling like decorative objects, making them a genuinely useful part of combat. One of the reasons I've replayed the game so many times is that it's incredibly easy to jump into. Sometimes you don't want to solve puzzles or spend half the level looking for the next switch — you just want to shoot something. Shadow Warrior 2 understands that. The semi-open levels give you enough freedom to explore if you want to, but they rarely interrupt the flow of combat. Instead, the game keeps throwing enemies at you, creating an almost addictive rhythm where you're constantly aiming, dodging, slicing and switching weapons. The combat feels intense without becoming exhausting, and it's the kind of game I can launch even when I only have an hour to play. The loot and upgrade system also works well. Weapons can be customized with gems that modify their stats or add elemental effects. Some players feel the upgrades aren't particularly impactful, but I enjoyed experimenting with different combinations. Once you start matching elemental damage to enemy weaknesses, the system becomes much more rewarding than it first appears. Visually the game still looks great. The environments are colorful and varied. The effects during combat make every fight feel wonderfully chaotic. The story isn't anything extraordinary, but it's still more entertaining than what many shooters offer. And Lo Wang's constant jokes give the game plenty of personality. My only real complaints are fairly minor. I wish the game was a bit more challenging overall, since I only really enjoy it on the highest difficulty, No Pain No Gain. At the same time, a few encounters can feel slightly unbalanced on higher difficulties. For example, Seepage Problem can put so many elite and superior enemies into a relatively small area that you can burn through your ammunition surprisingly quickly. I also encountered an occasional boss regeneration bug where bosses would sometimes regenerate around 44 health instead of the expected 4, making certain fights unnecessarily frustrating. One thing I found interesting is how wildly Bunny Lord encounters can vary between playthroughs. On one playthrough the very first rabbit I killed transformed into a Bunny Lord, while in another playthrough I had already reached level 30 without seeing a single one. It gives each playthrough a slightly different feel. Fortunately, I never experienced any mission-breaking bugs or anything that prevented me from finishing the game. Overall, Shadow Warrior 2 is one of my favorite fast-paced shooters. It combines satisfying gunplay, excellent melee combat, enjoyable progression, beautiful visuals and highly replayable gameplay into a game that I've happily returned to over the years. It isn't perfect, but it's an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys action-focused FPS games. Shadow Warrior 2 has aged better than its sequel. Shadow Warrior 3 introduced more cinematic combat and linear levels, but I still prefer the freedom, replayability and satisfying combat loop of Shadow Warrior 2. Final score: 9/10

Хорошая игра, легко добивается на все ачивки за какие-то 8 лет.

"This is, probably, the worst game I've ever played. I still don't understand the Very positive reviews. I don't know what people see in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I don't" This up here is what I wrote as a review before I completed the game. Let's see how my opinion changed. To begin with... No... it didn't change. I really believe there's nothing interesting to discover in this game. Most of the fun comes from how ridiculous the game is, and the only times I had fun was while reading the Fortune Cookies. The game is easy, there's liteally no difficulty to experience even at max difficulty (Not counting insanities, except insanity 1) The weapons are basic and, even if they look different and kind of cool, they play exactly the same, all of them. There are no direct upgrades, so no making them a bit more interesting either. Enemies are annoying, there's no actual way of avoiding damage in this game except for using Vanish the whole time. So, basically, everything is dull and monotonous. The combat looks exactly the same from start to finish. Imagine how easy it is that once I got the Chainsaw and the Sawed Off Shotgun I didn't use any other weapon throughout the whole game except for boss fights. I don't recommend it at all. I don't think it's worth anyone's time.
