About
Shadow Warrior 2 is the stunning evolution of Flying Wild Hog’s offbeat first-person shooter following the further misadventures of former corporate shogun Lo Wang. Now surviving as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world, the formidable warrior must again wield a devastating combination of guns, blades, magic and wit to strike down the demonic legions overwhelming the world. Battle alongside allies online in four-player co-op or go it alone in spectacular procedurally-generated landscapes to complete daring missions and collect powerful new weapons, armor, and arcane relics of legend.
Five years have passed since Lo Wang shattered the alliance between his deceitful former boss and the ancient gods of the shadow realm. Despite noble intentions, Lo Wang’s efforts to annihilate the darkness corrupted the world, creating a strange and savage new order where humans and demons live side by side.
The once feared warrior now lives in the shifting wildlands outside the reach of his enemies and the neon glow of Zilla’s cybernetic metropolis, scratching out a meager existence as a hired sword for the local Yakuza clans. When a simple mission goes wrong, Lo Wang is drawn into a volatile conflict between a brilliant young scientist, his nemesis Orochi Zilla, and the demonic forces that have become unsettled in our world. The sharp-tongued hero must once again wield lethal blades, staggering firepower, and archaic magic to purge the world of evil.
Blades and Bullets: Lo Wang delivers his own brand full throttle brutality with an expanded array of over 70 lethal blades and explosive firearms to overcome the demonic opposition. Become a whirlwind of steel and blood with razor sharp katana, short swords, crescent blades, and hand claws or unleash a hellish symphony of ornate firearms to decimate your enemies.
Four Player Co-Op: Battle through the expansive campaign alone or team up as a four-player typhoon of destruction online in campaign co-op mode. Tackle challenging primary missions or thrilling side quests while maintaining your own ninja style with customizable armor, items, and valuable loot from your triumphs.
Procedural Environments: The breach between the human and demon realms created an interdimensional hernia resulting in constant shifts to the world of Shadow Warrior 2. Procedurally generated landscapes and paths bring new twists and turns to once familiar terrain and routine missions.
Brutal Damage System: Choose your weapon based on the situation at hand and then dismantle everything that stands in your path with an advanced gore system. Use precision blade strikes to separate limbs and heads or switch to heavy ordinance and blow a hole right through colossal beasts.
Custom Upgrade System: Upgrade weapons in your arsenal with up to three stones at once to improve performance or augment them with devastating elemental effects. Collect karma, amulets, and armor to enhance Lo Wang’s power and shift his death-dealing artistry into overdrive.
The Shadow Warrior series started back in the 90s with Shadow Warrior Classic that was remastered and released on Steam by Devolver Digital and 3D Realms as Shadow Warrior Classic Redux. Then in 2013, Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital released the bold reimagining of the legend of Lo Wang with the modern classic Shadow Warrior.

Достойный пиздюк 1ой части. Судя по прокачке, можно играть пока не надоест.
Este si es buen juego. No como el bodrio de las ratas llamado Vertimide 2. :v

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautifully optimised for PC, looks great and plays so well, get this on sale.
Story: Bad Gameplay: Worse 3/10
What do you mean, this has Zora Neale-Hurston quotes in it? What do you mean they come out of a fortune cookie that plays a little zither jingle when you pick it up? What were the developers trying to say? Probably nothing, actually, because there's so much random quote fill in the fortune cookies that I think they just took a list of things famous people have said and plugged them in. It's an improvement over the Confucius say jokes, but oh those are still in there too. The devs took a shaky step away from racial caricaturing and landed right in the void. How does it play, though? Well, the environment graphics are gorgeous. The weather effects are lovely. The soundtrack is nice background ambiance that knows how to dynamically shift tempo. A lot of Shadow Warrior (2013)'s odd design choices have been sanded down to make movement and weapon rotation and ammo management and sword comboing buttery smooth. So, uh, predictably it's the everything else that's wrong. Shadow Warrior 2 feels like they had a pretty decent game half made and then the CEO played Borderlands 2 and the dev team had to abruptly shift vision because the point of failure on any creative endeavor is always the C-suite. This thing wasn't made to support being a looter shooter, and it shows. The elements don't blend, the otherwise pretty tightly imagined combat is flaccid as hell, enemies are samey, the writing is trying way too hard to get that Borderlands-y ironic lilt while not at all cracking that what made BL2 work writing-wise was the genuine feeling under the surface irony. Also. The UI. I haven't seen it this bad in a AA. I rarely see it this bad in the indie. I thought I'd softlocked myself because of how poorly presented the dialog choice system is and while I'm an idiot I'm also not the only person who's done that. You have to double click to select dialog options. And the other menus feel kludgy and threadbare as well. As if the whole looter shooter customization system was kinda rammed in at the last minute. Oh, and the DLC. People *loved* Borderlands 2 dlc. So how did we expand and innovate on that here? Fight rat in alley. This might be the worst DLC I've seen for anything. It's just random 'kill x enemy' missions. And they did two packs of it. The DLC missions are tedious and lay bare how much the combat in SW2 sucks---you just circle strafe with your blades spamming left click, and go to range when an enemy does a damage aura, and nothing really matters. I do think that if you get this thing for free, there's some brain off fun to be had. It has a bunch of ideas that are pretty close to interesting, and the graphical execution is quite competent. However, I think you're better off playing one of the good Borderlands or any indie boomershooter. Shadow Warrior 2 doesn't really have any strengths to recommend it on. Edit: Oh, I guess they also haven't fixed the crashing as of 2026. It's not frequent, but it also doesn't happen for any discernable reason, so you'll kinda just sometimes get booted to desktop for jumping. And while we're talking about the movement tech, did you know that dash-spamming is faster than your sprint? Kinda doody. Also so many enemies spawn on top of each other that you're heavily incentivized to use melee weapons (which is fine, the melee combo system is interesting) but then the melee combo system doesn't seem to actually be related to your melee weapon's damage, it scales based off of the individual powers, and actually hitting anything in Shadow Warrior 2 with a melee sucks because every enemy your size has a deflect, an i-framed dodge, a flashstep, and a shove. And anything on a tether is worse because it's constantly phasing out of existence and immuning your attacks in order to phase back in two paces away in a random direction. Quantum a$$ enemy positioning. They managed to make Borderlands combat annoying. Borderlands combat is practically a flavorless meal how did you do this. 2nd Edit: Rolled credits. Fully half of my playtime was doing the stupid bounty quests. Also the plot kinda just ends. It's a short game if you don't artificially pad it. The thing that gets me, though, is that the arcs for the characters aren't actually bad. They're missing a whole bunch of middle, but I can see how they'd be solid if they had that. "We need to allow the world to change, we can't just hold on to the way we wish things had been," is a reasonable message, but it's jammed in at the last second with no real support. The writing also feels chopped. You'll get a dialog with a character where you're at each other's throats, and then the next dialog you're old friends, and then the next dialog it's like you've never met each other before. It doesn't even feel like they had the same writer do all the dialog in the same quest. And there's some wild threads that get built up and then completely dropped, or characterizations that appear out of the blue and then evaporate. Ameonna showing up to the Wang Zilla fight to be a fujoshi is weird? It's neat that the writers are talking about how they've got a more complicated dynamic than your average fps boss and hero, but it's like two minutes of her monologuing about how that must mean they're into each other, and Wang and Zilla basically don't interact at any other point during the game. And Ameonna has an extended sidequest about how someone took a video of her bathing and they're going to release it if you go after them, but then you go after them and actually it's a sex tape, and you destroy it but then actually she wanted to release it. Did three people write this without getting to look at each other's work? It wouldn't stand out so much if there was more game here, but there isn't. Again, this is like 7 hours of game and 8 hours of kill rat in alley bounty quests. And the hitboxes are scuffed. And the enemies are boring. And you get trapped in cutscene dialog hell for five minutes every time you start a quest. Play EYE Divine Cybermancy instead.
I played this with three friends and it made the experience much better. Not sure if I would actually recommend it, but watching two of them have a horrible time while my third friend and I swooned over Kamiko made it so much more fun. The writing is silly and gets old fast. The enemies can be overwhelming and get random resistances. I would not play this again or go back to finish side quests. The guns are cool. The type chart and elemental damage matters so much, you cannot ignore it. Also, the upgrade system is quantity over quality. If you are going to play it, play it for a fun time and not a good time. You have to let yourself have fun with it because the fun will not happen to you, you need to find it.
Look I'm not gonna act as if Shadow Warrior 1 was a masterpiece but it was an alright way to update the DOS game into a modern shooter at the time. It was a straight forward, violent, fun FPS for it's time. Let me say that again: it was alright FOR IT'S TIME. Now, Shadow Warrior 2 on the other hand seems to have taken the worst cliches from the first one and double down on them. First thing I noticed about SW 2 is that it is a non-linear game. You cycle endlessly through 4 or 5 maps and a hub in order to do missions and sidequests. Now I have no idea why the developers would decide to take it into a non-linear experience, but not just that, this is also a looter shooter. One hour in and I realised that it's item system basically can be summed up into hoarding ♥♥♥♥ and opening lootboxes scattered around to get perks that you'll never use. Now, I usually appreciate when a developer adds some RPG mechanic into a game, it makes it feel more immersive, sadly this isn't the case. Instead of leveling up or being able to spend skill points in basic perks to improve Lo Wang (yeah that is his name) you get piles of upgrades for weapons, and while you do get to upgrade certain aspects and skills, it never really amounts too anything. But wait, I did have some fun at first, but having played all through the whole damn thing from head to toe, sidequests, main story and DLC missions (which btw are just senseless kill missions that go for $14 last time I checked and should be just included in the base game), I do have a lot of things to complain about actually. The camera is dissorienting, enemies gang up on you and respawn from out of nowhere, projectiles seem to go anywhere but where intended making gunplay almost pointless, there's so much noise in the screen at every moment that I barely knew what the ♥♥♥♥ was going on most of the time, every mission seems to be a fetch quest or a "go there and kill that" cycling eternally through the different maps, the dialogue is terrible, and not only do we have to listen to Lo Wang throw some of the most ungodly awful one-liners ever written and delivered in video game history, now we have to put up with some gal who's stuck inside his mind and is constantly commenting on everything, thankfully you can skip the conversations, they must've known it was annoying so I grant them that at least. Also I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea whatsoever about what the main story is about. I have zero, and I mean ZERO idea about what the ♥♥♥♥ was going on with the story; and it wasn't just because at one point I got tired of listening to the characters terrible dialogue but it is also kind of confusing narratively, like from the get go I had no idea what it was all about nor who the characters where. This game is a drag but I gotta admit that it is passable. It is barely ok from time to time, after all I finished the whole thing. I'm not sure if turning Shadow Warrior into this direction worked too much in it's favour. So, if you are gonna play it, do it at your own risk. And for the love of God don't play it on hard mode. Not because it's harder, no no, but because it becomes an unbearable grindfest. Every foe is a bullet sponge and takes forever to kill. Man, ♥♥♥♥ it. 2.5/5
