Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I had no idea what this title was before browsing Atari's page during the summer sale and the name itself and obviously the $1.5 price tag caught my eye and I decided to give it a shot and for the most part 'Shadow Ops: Red Mercury' is a solid FPS. As far as the gameplay itself goes, it's pretty good and there isn't a whole lot I can say about an FPS game especially a modern day militaristic one as you point the gun it shoots and it feels pretty good, but it does have some things I like and dislike I can tell you. The leaning system is fantastic here, I wish more of these games did it especially as well as this game. The leaning mechanic here isn't just left or right but gives you full axis movement meaning you can peek left out of the wall or heck if you're crouched behind cover and want to quickly peek up you can. It's just smooth and buttery. The guns feel pretty good to use, but as far as damage go they all the same damage meaning 1 shot to the head is instant death and 2 shots to the body to kill an enemy which in turn means just use whatever gun feels best which for me was using whatever fully automatic weapon they gave me, so long as it wasn't that stealth mission. Ammo is a pretty bad thing in this game as it deals with giving the player limited ammo which is usually something I don't mind as it adds a layer of challenge, but the problem with this game is that it seems like it never wants to give you ammo for a weapon you need, I always found myself getting ammo for a pistol or the sniper I never used when I just wanted it for my assault rifle, to get around this I just ended up using the infinite ammo cheat code "MADMINUTE" as it makes it a much better experience instead of an infuriating one. The game doesn't have checkpoints and for the most part the difficulty here isn't terrible at all, but when you die in a certain mission a few times it can be annoying as you'll have to restart the entire mission all over and sometimes it deals mostly with cheap enemy spawns. God mode cheat "FIRSTLAW" definitely helps when you're low and health and can't find a pickup anywhere close. The story is kind of a mixed bad as I find it pretty bad, but at the very least it's entertaining. Like you find out this "Red Mercury" is a bomb that can deal with explosions twice the size of the bomb that hit Hiroshima, pretty bad I think we can all agree so let me ask something else. You see the main antagonist steal this "Red Mercury" bomb, but you also see a beautiful Russian blonde, would you A.) use your big head and go after the bomb because hearing "twice the size of Hiroshima" sounds pretty awful and you don't want that f**king thing going off or B.) use your little head and go talk to the blonde and chat her up? LITTLE HEAD ENGORGED! It's stupid, but at the least you'll have some fun with it..... WAIT Pretty much everything in the sound direction is really good from the audio of explosions and guns, to the music, and even the voice cast. I didn't know that Steve Blum was here as the main protagonist either, so I guess you could say you're mowing down bad guys as the Wolverine. It may sound like I'm mostly complaining and I think it's mostly because those are just a few of the things I have definite opinions on as the game itself is still a blast to run through and I think I would prefer this even over CoD 1-3. For $1.5 the game is solid and even the $7 might be a good price to grab it at. Just understand that this is from 2004 so some things have obviously aged within the 22 years it's been out.

very good
Super Game. Owned the hardcopy. Works fine out of the box, yet BEST to edit the INI file for more perfection (use LossLess scaling or equivelant as well for that final step) you can find instructions for this is these forums. Just buy the game on sale already if you enjoy MIL SIM FPS. This one is over 20 years old, and still holds up to this day. You could play this thing on your phone as the UI and screen resolution would just manage it. Another game with similar googness is Red Faction 2 in this regard, just SKIP that end boss, haha (or maybe cheat that part). So yes, this is a SUPER well done FPS from Atari basically, some of the parts are SO BAD it's gud, and other parts are just pure gud!
