Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Preamble: I guess "someone" of the developers played too much MINESWEEPER in his life (HINT). Mines are taking a serious amount of the gameplay, better know how to deal with them and LEARN patience... Review: Serious Sam: Bogus Detour is a top-down spin-off of the classic Serious Sam games. The basic concept remains the same: fight your way through hordes of enemies, only this time from an overhead perspective. The gameplay itself can be fun, but the difficulty is extremely frustrating—even on Easy. The final bosses are a real nightmare to deal with, and the global achievement completion rates say a lot about how unforgiving this game can be. You can find stars throughout the levels to upgrade abilities, weapon stats, health, and armor. However, even with a fully upgraded character, the game remains brutally difficult. The achievement requirements make matters worse. For example, one achievement requires you to find two secret documents in the Troja level. After finally collecting them, you can rush toward the next checkpoint, die beforehand, and lose all your progress. Having to repeat that entire section is incredibly frustrating. The lack of a map is another major issue. Some levels are large, confusing, and filled with locked doors. Troja is a perfect example. You are forced to search for blue, yellow, red, and green keys before you can unlock shortcuts and make meaningful progress. This quickly becomes tedious, especially when you have no map to help you keep track of where you have been. The gameplay has its enjoyable moments, but the achievement system turns the experience into an exhausting grind. The amount of time and effort required for certain achievements is simply not justified by the rewards. I would not recommend this game to serious achievement hunters unless they are prepared for a long, repetitive, and often unfair grind. This is one of the most frustrating “grind for nothing” games out there. Proceed with caution!

Worth it only if on sale! It looks and sounds nice. Story? - it's a non-canonical filler. So there is basically no story, just excuses for things to happen. Gameplay - Heroes of Hammerwatch but with guns. That is NOT Serious Sam but top-down! Lots of weapons but enemies are way tankier than in main-line games! Leveling up and perks are supposed to help with it but it's slow and you need to get every hidden perk points on the map to stay viable. Difficulty spikes up pretty fast. Movement speed is low. No map of the level AT ALL! NO MANUAL SAVING! (WHY?) Overall it can be fun game. But not a fan Serious Sam game (there are many enemies that can see/shoot you outside of your view/reach). P.S.: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MINES! Whoever put them here - don't let them anywhere near game dev!
Quite fun, but it uses a lives system that makes failure extremely irritating, especially with the low view distance, the humongous levels, and the lack of a map.
Serious Sam Hammerwatch
buen juegito.
sexiest game ever, love to play this hardcore game with my friends. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love Sam seriously!
Criminally underrated, SSBD is one of crackshell's best games and sports a truly killer soundtrack by Damjan Mravunac. All hits, no filler.
