Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game was a lot of fun! It had elements of things i have seen in other horror games/ movies but put plenty of new engaging twists in to keep it fresh. I will definitely recommend this one.
A step up from Unbearable in terms of overall gameplay; even if the maps are a lot more linear and the story feels largely even more abstract than in its predecessor, the combat does feel tighter, particularly with the added parry mechanic, and the cheevos for the hidden medallions, optimizing the boss runs and finding the secret ending do give it some replay value.
Selene's Unbearable Night is an indie survival horror experience that clearly draws from classic genre traditions while attempting to modernize them through expanded combat options and narrative ambition. Developed and published by Farelas, the game places players in the role of Selene, a woman who awakens in a terrifying situation following her abduction, with little understanding of where she is or why she has been taken. What begins as a desperate attempt to escape quickly evolves into a deeper mystery, gradually revealing that the nightmare surrounding Selene is rooted in something far more disturbing than a simple crime. The game establishes its tone early through isolation, uncertainty, and a steady drip of unsettling revelations rather than immediate shock. The core gameplay loop revolves around exploration, puzzle solving, and survival-oriented decision making. Players navigate dimly lit environments filled with locked doors, hidden pathways, and environmental hazards that demand careful observation. Progression is often gated behind key items or logic-based puzzles, encouraging thorough exploration and attention to environmental storytelling. Rather than guiding the player directly, the game trusts them to piece together clues through notes, environmental details, and dialogue, reinforcing a sense of vulnerability and confusion that aligns well with the protagonist’s situation. This methodical pacing helps maintain tension, as every new area feels potentially dangerous and unpredictable. Combat in Selene’s Unbearable Night strikes a balance between empowerment and restraint. Unlike purely stealth-focused horror titles, the game allows players to engage enemies directly using both melee weapons and firearms, supplemented by mechanics such as dodging and parrying. These systems add a layer of skill-based interaction to encounters, allowing experienced players to handle threats more confidently while still punishing reckless behavior. Resources remain limited, however, ensuring that combat is never trivial and that avoidance is often the smarter option. While some encounters can feel rough around the edges, the overall design encourages players to adapt their approach based on available supplies and enemy behavior rather than relying on brute force alone. Narratively, the game unfolds through a combination of cutscenes, dialogue, and environmental clues, gradually expanding beyond Selene’s personal struggle to reveal a broader and more sinister context. The inclusion of a second playable character introduces an additional perspective, helping to flesh out the story and connect separate threads of the mystery. While the narrative follows familiar survival horror themes, it remains engaging through consistent pacing and a clear effort to build atmosphere and emotional weight. The story may not radically redefine the genre, but it succeeds in maintaining intrigue and giving players a reason to push forward despite the danger. Atmosphere is one of the game’s strongest elements. Environments are designed to feel oppressive and disorienting, using darkness, confined spaces, and unsettling sound design to keep players on edge. Subtle audio cues often signal danger before it becomes visible, encouraging cautious movement and heightening suspense. Visually, the game reflects its indie origins, with character models and animations that are functional rather than highly polished. While this can occasionally break immersion, the overall environmental design and lighting do much of the heavy lifting when it comes to sustaining tension. Technically, Selene’s Unbearable Night shows both ambition and limitation. Movement and combat can feel stiff at times, and occasional bugs or inconsistencies remind players that this is a small-scale production. That said, many of these issues are offset by the developer’s willingness to iterate and improve the experience through updates. The game’s scope is clearly defined, and within that scope it delivers a complete survival horror experience rather than a fragmented or unfinished one. Ultimately, Selene’s Unbearable Night is a passion-driven indie horror title that prioritizes atmosphere, classic survival mechanics, and narrative mystery over polish or spectacle. It is best suited for players who appreciate old-school survival horror design and are willing to tolerate some rough edges in exchange for tension, exploration, and a cohesive story. While it may not rival big-budget genre staples, it stands as a solid and earnest entry in the indie horror space, offering a grim and engaging journey that reflects both its inspirations and the developer’s commitment to delivering a full, unsettling experience. Rating: 7/10
An instant cult classic—literally! I absolutely loved this game. Think of it as a poor man’s Resident Evil, janky but with surprising features you wouldn’t expect from an indie title. Every minute was a joy to play. The save system is forgiving, and the story is intriguing. Enjoyed it from start to finish and never got bored.
