Secret Neighbor: Hello Neighbor Multiplayer

I rate this game a 6/10. Before I start this mixed review off I just wanna say that it’s super fun with friends. It would be a 10/10 if it’s wasn’t so unbalanced. In short: Buy it on sale, it’s not worth it at full price in its current state. There are lots of different characters and they each provide a unique experience. It’s pretty fun to find keys and be cautious because one of your teammates is secretly the neighbor in disguise. Sounds very fun right? Well it is, unless you’re the neighbor. I don’t know exactly what they did but back then being the neighbor was loads of fun. But now most of the time you just fight hoards of players that just keep stunning you until you knock out, repeat. So instead of being sneaky, you catch one kid, they scream for help, and the entire squad is suddenly throwing items at you the rest of the game while 1 or 2 kids searches for keys. Being the kids is pretty fun I would say but it’s so easy for the neighbor to get items spammed at him because the kids rarely separate, as there is no reason to. Except it’s extremely annoying when there’s teammates that just knock you for no reason and you can’t do anything about it because you are stunned. Another very annoying thing is the traps, not really how they function, but how they spawn. They spawn randomly so often you will find 5-6 traps in one room. And they can be very difficult to see sometimes. This game also has some hackers, which are pretty annoying, they even shut down the servers for around 2 weeks if I remember correctly. I can’t recommend it at full price In its current state, just get it on sale for $4 like I did. It’s unbalanced, and we haven’t gotten an update since late 2023. The devs are working completely on a different game called SAND: Raiders of Sophie. So hopefully an update will come and improve the balancing after that game is complete.

To me its good game, but sadly game became dead by adding more updates to game. Playing this game on ps4 in 2021 was peak tho
