For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

this is a good game but i do worry about the dev team sticking to it long term.. they have been radio silent for months now. so keep this in mind if deciding to pick this up. ill keep an eye on it for myself but i was waiting for some bigger updats to this game before i dive in.. good news is whats here is worth picking up for that price heres to hoping that they are working hard on a big content update
Cons: #1. No difficulty info. You aren't told ANYTHING regarding what the difference is between easy, normal, hard, etc. #2. No info on the classes. They don't tell you that only the ranger can use crossbows or that he has 50% more hp than the Diviner, or that only the Diviner is capable of using staves, and you're not given ANY info on the different skills that are exclusive to each class. You literally have to create a new character with each class and go through the intro and then open the skill tree to see what the differences are. #3. The game often uses the "lock you into an arena and spawn a bunch of monsters ontop of you" trick, which is really cheap and doesn't benefit either the Ranger or the Diviner in playstyles. #4. The gear in the game has durability, and no way to turn it off. #5. The mercernary that you can hire blocks you in doorways, which is hella irritating. #6. Spell casting is rather clunky #7. No tooltip information on the range of different guns, or different spells. Also no information on the magazine sizes of different guns. #8. The inventory is tiny #9. The stash has an issue where you can fill it up to 40+ items but then if you add more items, you can't even scroll down to see the items that are below the UI so you can't remove those items as a result before removing the items above it. #10. Merchants have a tiny amount of gold before they can't buy any more of your items #11. Music is incredibly forgettable #12. No 'confine mouse cursor to active window' toggle #13. The dungeon generation leaves a lot to be desired #14. You can't heal your mercernary #15. You can't give your mercernary any items or gear #16. The tutorial is very lacking in info #17. The game is for sale in countries that commit crimes against humanity, like Izrael and Ruzzia. There's better boomer shooters out there for $20. This game isn't terrible, but it's not good either. The devs could vastly improve the game by increasing the skill tree by at least 300% and getting rid of the terrible skills/passives, and increasing the inventory by at least 300% and making durability optional and allowing you to heal your mercernary. If you are looking the best 'boomer shooter' ever made, then look no further than ShadowWarrior2 for $30... Second Sun needs to be improved a fair bit before I can even recommend it for $20. my first impressions review: https://youtu.be/pjOrxXJgWmc

its got the potential to be pretty fun, but i sadly requested a refund after a week of no reply (both on steam discussion and discord) to my report on a game breaking bug that can cause any dungeon generated when making a character to have a never spawning boss (and in the case i found this bug.. the tutorial... which permanently locked that character out of the rest of the game) i was also sorely disappointed in mercenaries who have lemming mentality.. as soon as i hired one it ran off into the sunset to die at the hands of random enemies that werent even remotely close to us or even in the direction i was walking if the dev wants to address this dungeon boss bug i should still have the save files assuming they are the (character name).dsc files under /AppData/LocalLow/Grey Wolf Entertainment/Second Sun/ may re-buy re-review in the future if these 2 issues ever get fixed
游戏做的还不错,就是没汉化做任务比较难受,期待中文
Enjoyable, and has a lot of potential to build upon the solid base that has been released. Variety is missing, gun play is great, there are some glitches and quality of life changes certainly needed, but I do honestly believe this already fun game could become something much bigger. To me it feels somewhat like Serious Sam, at least in the brainless (I do not mean this in a bad way, it is a compliment) shoot shoot go here shoot shoot loot loot way that sometimes is just what you may need to be able to tune out, and chill. I look forward to what the devs do with this game in the future! Notes: - Screen shake seems to compound and not reduce after the fact when you are being hit and firing your gun at the same time, leading to crazy screen shake building up - A way to view prior quest dialog and scrolls would be excellent - Resources only seem to spawn in a single zone, outside of there, it is barren - When identifying an item, personal opinion but switching to the items tab after would make the flow a bit more seemless, instead of switching to consumables, then items to select, then back to consumables, then having to select items again - A big ask of course, but additional variety in dungeon layout and enemy class would be a massive win - Again, a big ask, but some variety to the Legendary weapons in how appear when they fire, what their firing looks and sounds like compared to other weapons in order to distinguish them and give that feeling of what a Legendary weapon should do would be great - Small note, but when adding mod slots via the Mod Master, throwing the player out of the dialogue and requiring them to speak to the Mod Master again each time they want to add slots feels a little cumbersome - An ability to zoom the world map and see resource modes you have discovered would be nice - Resuming a save always places you back at West Point Camp, instead of where you left the game previously. While resuming within a dungeon I understand may not be ideal, if you leave the game in the overworld, loading back in when resuming would be ideal - Further separating out ammo types in to heavy, rifle, pistol would be nice. Although ammo is rarely an issue, seeing the same ammo shared between heavy, rifle and pistol feels a bit odd - Currently it seems items which can be master crafted are shown as greyed out when changing from improve to master craft. This does not prevent you from master crafting them, but is misleading in the UI - Rolling forward time appears to clear out discovered NPCs such as the Mod Master etc from the world map, even though their position is static
Overall, not bad for the 20% discount, roughly $16. Some improvement ideas: - The options menu could be put together better (they look amateurish right now). - The loot definitions and labels could use larger lettering or words. - Loot and pickup items could "glow" a bit brighter for better visibility. - The gun sounds are ok, but sound like a bouncing ball in a barrel. - The explosions sound muffled and weak. - The overall game environment color is a bit bland, dark, and washed out (I used "reshade" and improved the color and clarity in about half an hour). Most gamers won't mind paying an increased price if the above-mentioned improvements are made.
Ok, so there is fun to be had in this game but there is a ton of bugs and odd design choices that prevent me from recommending this game.
High potential with some huge flaws. The setting is awesome along with the combat idea of blending gunplay and magic. But enemy autoleveling ruins the whole excitement of leveling up and progression. The enemy behaviour suggests the use of a dash, but there is none in the game, so instead of creating various tactics which would be possible with the dash move, there's only one - keep distance and shoot. There are some artistic flaws as well. For instance, adding fade ins and outs when the scene changes (like in dialogue or on death screen) would make the whole picture to be percieved way smoother. Dialogue windows look like placeholders in an alpha build. The vignettes of spells are confusing and give a feeling of taking damage, rather than inflicting it. And now for the elephant in the room - sound. It is VERY poor. 90s FPS sounded better. The guns lack some high frequency sounds, like mechanics. There is no impact of combat and even the explorating. The hit pots produce the sound of a porcelain cup being put on a saucer. Soundscape is filled with ambient sounds, yet feels empty. Some ambience SFX is not perfectly looped. And the music...Well, it's just there. It does not create any tension or provides any emoional impact. The sad thing is that this is not an early access game, it is a released one, so there is no chance that the flaws I touched will be addressed, which will keep a potentially acclaimed game in the swamp of mediocrity.
I liked it, i just wish it had better optimization for Steam Deck and hand held, but these guys can show you better than I can tell. https://youtu.be/eeej0pERRmQ
The game should have difficulty options. The game gets very difficult very quickly before the player can prepare with better equipment and weapons. Another improvement would be not to respawn areas previously cleared. That just makes returning to your last point advanced very tedious. The game is very linear. I found no exploration options. It was a straight path. So, it was tedious and boring. Just one more shoot 'em up with nothing else. 20/100
