Good Time Spent for Classic RPG Lovers
No soy experta en este tipo de juegos pero me parece un juego entretenido, bonito, con una buena historia y un buen sistema de combate y exploración.
战斗系统需要优化,太累了
A well polished RPG; I enjoyed it. Some mechanics to 'tweak' the difficulty, if you opt-in, that I think could possibly ruin the game.
TL;DR Sea of Stars is a solid game. The art direction is spectacular, and the soundtrack is magnificent. However, it does suffer from a few noticeable issues. The pacing can drag significantly at times. Backtracking through paths two or three times to find things you missed gets incredibly tedious, making exploration in general feel a bit like a chore. That being said, the puzzles scattered throughout the exploration are a great addition, even if a few of them were a bit hard to understand. Additionally, one of the requirements to unlock the true ending crosses the line from fun into pure tedium (I won't specify which one to avoid spoilers). I also feel this game desperately needs a quest log or some feature to remind you of your current objective. As a working adult, I can't play every day. There were a couple of times when I logged back in and found myself completely lost, aimlessly wandering around because I couldn't remember the last thing a character had told me to do. It got to the point where I had to look up a guide just to figure out where to go next. Mechanically, the combat relies a bit too heavily on quick-time events but fails to provide enough feedback to the player. The timings often feel strange and unintuitive, frequently leaving you confused as to why you failed an attack or why you couldn't properly defend against an enemy strike. On a much brighter note, I absolutely loved the Wheels minigame and had a blast completing the side quests surrounding it. Finally, while the underlying narrative is interesting, the script and the writing itself don't quite hit the mark. The characters often feel very artificial in the way they speak, and some dialogues or conflicts are resolved by the "power of love." This clashes heavily with the serious tone of many of the themes being explored. In summary, I do recommend the game, but it has enough small flaws that they become a bit exhausting when they pile up. It's a good RPG, but not the best RPG. Despite its shortcomings, it's a very enjoyable experience, and I honestly had a great time playing it.
8.5/10
ta bastante chulo 👍
* characters look like chuds (make the dudes cooler and more buff and make the chicks hotter with bigger tits) * pixel art but not really pixel art (smth about diff pixel sizes or maybe how they glide past each other or the perspective not consistent but it just feels off during gameplay) * characters yap way too much But otherwise its a pretty enjoyable "rpg" if you skip past the dialogue and play it while drinking at night. Hopefully it keeps my attention long enough to finish it tho. p.s. this assumes you got it as part of the humble bundle. paying 34.99 for this is absolutely not worth it. I'd put it at a solid 4.99 at best. don't let the SSS tier art lure you into paying full price b/c everything else kinda sucks ngl
Un pixel art tan hermoso que lo convierte en un juego obligatorio incluso aunque la mecánica de combate no sea tan de mi agrado.
