The control scheme and menu combos for building a cart is extremely unintuitive and after returning many months later to pickup my career where I left off, I just could not figure out how to achieve the tasks I wanted to. I don't need to paint things so frequently. It wastes the use of the mouse click. I can't find the ability to re-select parts I've mistakenly placed. Scrolling for a position and rotating are so awkward and flow poorly. The constant reliance on the middle mouse button is a poor decision as it's the least consistent button of the 3 most commonly found on mice. Being unable to rotate or preview parts you're about to fit causes you to open menus, try to test if the part, and then have to go back into the menu once you've understood the dimensions of that part. I'd like to see the hot bar be repurposed to access different sections of the menu, where you can just scroll to the part you desire, and instantly see how it fits on the chassis you've built. Or be able to click on the part in the menu for a larger preview of it, before trying to fit it to your chassis. A natural center line on your build plate should be there, instead of offering a toggle to see the mirror plane. The camera in the build area is also too orthographic, The FOV of the build area is also strange, and almost orthographic, which would be fine if the controls were as fluid using CAD software, but flying around your build plate requires so many hot keys that it just feels disconnected and clunky.
