For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Okay, so I play a lot of bullet hell games. I like em. My gripes with this game. 1. I don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ I am suppose to be doing. Granted I am on the first map grinding higher corruption levels and nightmare mode. Why don't I know what to do? See a quest, do it and then wander around for a while looking for powerups. The powerups that seem of any use are; EXP Shrine, HP shrine and the green magnet. Everything else is walking around and killing stuff. 2. Okay, now that I mention killing stuff, your skills are way more powerful than your basic attacks. the incremental upgrades feel absolutely worthless and some skills go from 00's of damage to suddenly tens of thousands of damage. So my only interest is in finding combinations. 3. Combinations - Sometimes rerolls give me the same skills over and over again and no new skills so I sit there wondering is there a cap on how many combinations they allow you to get? 4. There are quests I can't complete in time, like looking for the chalices which then place them in 3 different directions with minimal time. I always fail that. 5. Kill points - At some point, Spending a few hundred kill points for some gold or purple gems turns into 4000. There are so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shops and I can at most buy 1 - 2 things from them. Everything else doesn't matter. Its like 300 kill points for 150 gold and then 4000 for a flask. I am still trying to find ways to get through it but I have no idea what to do on the map because there are few markers or events outside of rescuing allies and killing some Sins. Day comes once, night comes once, I see little use of it.

Most games like these balance it for consistent growth so that each level is more challenging but the boss and level are reasonably difficult with normal progression. This game will spawn enemies that are more challenging but with upgrades they can be overcome. Suddenly, there is a boss at the end of the same level you just came through with minimal damage that is much faster than you, has AOE damage that is hard to avoid because you are so much slower and damage that is substantially higher than mobs of even high tier enemies prior to it. I'm not going to grind the same levels over and over just to be competitive with a boss on a level I just breezed through. Also, the underwater level air mechanic is annoying and makes missions where you have to remain in an area almost impossible to complete even with the proper levels. There are better games like this that are much more balanced and refined.

Kirby's Take: PROS - Fun game and good value for the price. - Gameplay is similar to VS and similar "survivor" titles. - Day and night cycle is a neat mechanic - each playable character feels unique with an interesting variety of powers and Ultimate attacks - The addition of loot is a neat idea opening up build options for characters. - presentation is nice great music and visuals - overal game is fun and easy to pick up and play CONS - Unfortunatly inventory system is extremely clunky with no sorting or bulk options. - limited weapon pool and combinations means most runs feel similar. - Each level has 11 levels of difficulty, which is a bit excessive for a game like this. - one in game misson where you have to collect 3 gobletts, doesnt give you enough time to complete it.
Recomendado. Vale sim o preço.
I have never have so little idea wtf was happening in a game. This is theoretically a bullet heaven. You open the game and there’s no intro, no explanations, nothing, you’re just catapulted into this series of menus with increasingly elaborate skilltrees some of which already have points applied and no explanation for anything. There’s not even normal stats, there’s Faith, Occult, and something else I don’t remember, and those cover random arrays of normal stats, like 6 each. All the skill trees and menus require different currency to interact with — there’s at least 4 difference currencies — and no tooltips, quest list, or tutorial. So eventually I just started a game to see what would happen, and you get what looks like a tutorial screen, but reading it is so unhelpful that it actually makes things more confusing. Real "I know what all the words mean, but together, I find them confusing" energy. But that’s the entire tutorial, so off we go! I wish I could say it’s basic VS gameplay, but there’s pickups that don’t clearly do anything (and no tooltips, so who knows!), I keep getting messages that I’d completed quests I didn’t know I was on (a personal favorite was “You’ve found the Egg for the Alchemists!” ok buddy sure), and the map was full of enormous trees both enemies and I would get stuck in. I had summons that were identical to enemies that I kept thinking were attacking me, and every now and then I’d just take random damage even though I was standing alone in a clearing. I had two runs end because my character just suddenly exploded for no reason; in one case the postgame screen said “Victory!” even though I’d apparently spontaneously combusted. There’s also apparently a gacha-style equipment system in play, because sure there is, which I didn’t have the wherewithal to interact with. The Steam forums are full of threads of people going, “Hey would you guys consider explaining what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on at the beginning?”, the answer to which is apparently “lolno.” I did know going in to this that the reviews were not great, but I nonetheless wasn’t prepared for just how bizarre the experience was. I can’t imagine opening this having not played a VSlike before. Surreal. Also… why is the game called ‘Scarlet Tower’? What is the Scarlet Tower? Where is it? What does it have to do with anything? Why are any of us here?
TOO MUCH GRINDING!
When a gameplay loop is built well, it becomes very hard to leave the next run for later
I liked Scarlet Tower because it does not settle for just copying the formula of surviving waves and stacking upgrades. The foundation is familiar, yes, but the gothic tone, the day and night cycle, the classes, and the familiars give it a much stronger identity than I expected. What stood out most to me is the constant sense of growth it builds, the kind where every run leaves me with a different build in mind and the urge to push a little further. I enjoyed it mostly because of that balance between chaos and planning. Even when the screen is full of enemies, I usually felt like I was building something instead of just surviving on autopilot. It is still a loop driven game, so if I play it for too many hours in a row, the repetition starts to show. Even so, I recommend it to players who enjoy progression, builds, and games that are easy to get into but have enough depth to keep them around for a while.
