First of all: This game is my first refund ever. It simply lacks everything. From gameplay (it feels like the game always has brakes on) over presentation (it all looks like copy & paste from other games and different genres) to balance (even the first boss wasn`t able to bring my health down to 99%). My first kill got me my first legendary item. In my opinion way too early. When putting on different gear the look of the charakter doesn`t change at all. An important point when it comes to `visual progression`. the game description says there are 6 base skill trees with would combine to 15 classes. That would be right if the classes weren`t pre-designed. At the start you can choose between three preset charakters and that`s it. Speaking of presets: Like Tanner_Lindberg metioned in his review most of the game comes from the unrealengine marketplace which isn`t a bad thing in the first place. But when you fail to bring in your own creative note, maybe you should start over with basic programming and learn a few things before making a game via copy & paste and demand money for it. Despite the very detailed negative review I decided to try Sanctum Breach anyway in favor to the 6 positive reviews. But now I think the positve reviews came from devs friends & family. Maybe Sanctum Breach will be worth playing at some point in the future but for now all there is left to say is: GRAB YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!

传送门都长得不像传送门,点了也没用,都出不去新手村,制作者这种bug还留着???
Cant say I would recommend in its current state although it could be great. Too many teething problems at the moment and no doubt the dev is looking to fix, but given the price of the early access at the moment here are some of the bugs: (playing as a Warrior / Mage) - There is ALOT of drift on the character when attacking (i didnt have this playing as ranger/mage) and there is no force standstill button. - Skill Buttons (whilst playing with keyboard and mouse, not sure if controllers are supported) are unresponsive most of the time unless mashing. This is a major issue. - Potion seem unresponsive most of the time with the character spamming "I cant do this" - again a major issue. - Summoned pets dont follow the character - When you die your current quest (farm x amount of whatevers resets) which is not necessarily a bug but hugely frustrating - There is no way of telling how the heck this game saves as there is no manual save... is it waypoints or when you return to town or when you quit to main menu or quit to desktop? - From Spider map onwards the map is completely @ss backwards and navigation difficult whilst looking at the minimap - Whilst handing in a quest might do something, the game doesnt tell you what (if anything) you have been rewarded. - there are 2 options when starting the game for the first time, one of which is Vulkan... no explanation as to what that option is or does. - some of the auras on mobs on the first quest are totally OP and given that the potions tend to be hugely unresponsive this is an issue
This game grows and grows. The dev is a oneman army and the high fantasy setting is totally missing in seasonal arpgs. He recently addet a ton of custumazation options for the charactercreation and 3d models for the gear. The classsystem always contains 2 classes like in titan quest or grim dawns and there are tons of interesting items. The game is about half done yet so dont expect a perfekt game but i know the dev wont give up this projekt if you keep supporting him. He loves what he does and is very close to the communtiy. Join the discord!
Game was fun, however dev seems to of abandoned it! Unfortunate
UPDATE (16.05.2026): game has been abandoned for 3 years now. Since nothing is going to be updated or improved, I can not recommend buying it anymore.
About the game:
Sanctum Breach is an indie ARPG with multiple playable character classes and a bunch of different skills / spells. At the start of the game you pick one of the (at point of review) three characters. Each one comes with two skill trees that you can spend your points from level ups and quests on. The game itself is made up of 4 different acts that you play through. After completing them you advance to the next difficulty. Endgame content has been promised and will eventually get added during this phase of early access.
Me rambling:
Sanctum Breach is an interesting game because it's history alone shows dedication of the developer. A full redo of the game in an insanely short amount of time after the first version faced some rough times. The developer went and redid the entire game from scratch in record time and was even very generous with giving out the game to people who bought it once before. (that's why I'm marking this as "got the product for free" btw, I bought access once before) Having spent some time playing the first version and also Rebirth during testing, I can say that it's an incredible improvement and the developer has obviously spent lots of time polishing systems and fixing bugs that arose along the way. Player feedback is incorporated or at least addressed incredibly quickly and bug fixes get released at alarming speeds. This game just hit Steam and is only in Beta so far but there are many plans for its future already laid out. The dedication that the developer clearly has, convinces me, that there is still a lot to come. Even if there's a few things that might not be perfect, there's still so much time in the future where the developer keeps improving the game (heck, the day I'm writing this he released to bugfix patches), so buy this game if you want to support an arpg with a lot of potential with a dev who 100% cares.
