Reviews
I don't normally write reviews, but for this sim I am making an exception. I agree with pretty much all the pros and cons that other reviewers have mentioned. I love the Age of Sail and for that reason I love this game and recommend it to everyone who also loves this genre, even though, yes, it still needs lots of tlc. Dear developer, thank you very much for your work on this so far and yes, please continue ironing out the bugs of which there are still a few...

A truly realistic simulator. This is the game every sailing enthusiast should play. I hope it gets implemented, it has a lot of potential.

I love the style of game viking makes. My garage was a banger, I bought sail the seas to support the dev in his work. Based off my garage, I knew sail the seas would be fun, and it is. Dont listen to the haters viking makes games that resonate with a specific type gamer who enjoys immersion and simulation. Keen to see what he adds, deff get this game and support a great indie dev!
This is a great game really what i was looking for i hope a mod community rises up to support A+
Pahinta on kuitenkin fysiikkamallinnus.
Good potential, not yet interesting. Not much to do, not many options. Good sailing physics. No chrash damage yet. Hope to see progress. At this moment not so interesting to me.
The game is great and has even greater potential. Consider… it is only early access, and I guess, It’s just a tiny crew working on it. The sailing physics and the answer of the ship to each single piece of canvas feels better, that anything, we had before in the genre. Ship’s speed and heel very nicely correspond to the weather conditions and the chosen set of sails. It’s reaction to the wheel feels very natural. And the implementation of a crew is pretty nice as well. The graphics is somewhat basic but transports very well the atmosphere of different weather conditions, day and night. Support these guys., this can become s.th. great…
If your looking for a really good sailing sim its great, but if your looking for all the land details and the NPC s in ports to be perfect as well than maybe its not for you. That end of the game is under developed for now!
