Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best FR #47, worst CA #99 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 35.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 246.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

The (((Ukrainian))) devs released dlc before adding all the features promised.
The game's immersion, environment and sound design is brilliant, the graphics are beautiful and over all the actual gun play is quite rewarding - however, this is totally blind sided by the AWFUL AI. They are given cheats, will beam you within seconds of spotting you and sometimes will begin firing through walls. It totally ruined the game for me as every conflict felt unfair. Bushes? Useless. Trees? Useless. Broken car? Useless in terms of cover. I found you're better off sprinting in circles to dodge bullets that duck behind cover. Until there's a mod that improves the AI, or there's some sort of update - don't bother buying the game. It reminds me of EFT, where shotgun scavs would head eyes you across the map.
I have logged over three hours on this thing. I cannot call it a game. I have been unable to get this to run. I followed all the advice on the website. Uninstalled, reinstalled updated graphics, etc. ad nauseam! I am sick of this run around. I have an Nvidia 4080 Super, i9 processor, 64gb of memory and terabytes of open storage. I must have filled at least fifty reports to the game company and nothing!
Stalker 2 more like Walker 2, could I at least get a bike or something? This game is good fun but it has the environmental distancing and design of a game that's trying to exponentially increase your play time by removing bridges, adding killzones in random places, and making every single POI 4000 miles apart with one of the WORST "fast travel" systems I've seen. There are usually a total of 4 places you can "fast travel" to, which REQUIRES YOU TO BE IN ONE OF THOSE PLACES TO DO SO. The number of times I have had to backtrack because I've found that the route I took in an open world led to an unavoidable cliff, or river, or wall which forces me to travel 4x the distance back around to the "correct" entry has taken years off my life due to blood pressure alone. Most of the other stuff is fun but getting anywhere is a complete slog.
Overall, the game is good. The graphics are nice, there is a decent variety of weapons, although I really dislike the fact that damage seems to depend more on the weapon itself rather than the actual caliber. The biggest problem, however, is the NPC AI. It is absolutely terrible. Probably the worst AI in the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, and honestly one of the worst examples of NPC behavior I have seen in any game. For example, you can see an entire squad of NPCs walking next to an electrical anomaly. They simply keep walking as if nothing is happening, completely ignoring it, until the anomaly reaches them and kills the entire squad. There were also situations where I shot an NPC with an unsuppressed weapon, while his ally was standing literally two meters away. The first NPC dies from a loud gunshot, and the second one does not even turn around or react. Sometimes you kill an NPC, another NPC sees the body, and just continues walking as if absolutely nothing happened. They recently added fog and said that it would affect NPC visibility and make it harder for both the player and enemies to see and shoot through it. In reality, NPCs can still shoot at you from somewhere far away inside the fog while you cannot even see them. Another thing that happens constantly is NPCs behaving completely irrationally during combat. You are fighting them, and suddenly they start walking sideways while looking in a completely different direction. Sometimes they even turn their backs to you and keep moving, allowing you to kill them without any resistance. I have also seen friendly stalkers completely ignore mercenaries. The mercenaries were shooting at me, their bullets were hitting the friendly stalkers standing nearby, and they still did absolutely nothing. At this point, the NPCs are probably the dumbest I have ever seen in the history of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The game has good graphics, atmosphere, and weapon variety, but the AI completely destroys the immersion. And what makes it even more disappointing is that these problems are still there even after the release of the new DLC. The game has a lot of potential, but the NPC AI desperately needs a serious rework.
Right at the first hour I was hooked on this game. After roughly 85 hours of gameplay I just found the abandoned legendary town of Pripyat and I simply can not put the game down. It's amazing. The story, the characters, the world. Ah yes, the world. Everything in the zone can kill you. You have to get used to being the least dangerous though around and adapt to that. While I am in no shape or form a fan of jump scares, this game contains them, but it's somehow managable and goes so well with the enviroment that I don't mind it. If you enjoy single player RPGs (no stats like STR and DEX though, just weapon and armor-tweaking with things you find in the zone) with really amazing storyline and characters that are so well written that it feels like you are there with them, this is the game for you. The graphics are post-soviet rusty and dusty -amazing and the soundscape is phenomenal. The music is a combined effort of drone / dark ambience and orchestra which marries together surprisingly well with the aesthetics. So grab a bottle of water, a sausage and a loaf of bread, get a good nights sleep and get ready to your heart rythm being just about as quick as the crackling sounds from your geigercounter. It's time to explore. It's time to stalk.
The more I learn about this game, the better it gets.
Biggest issue is the open world, specifically having to navigate this uneventful hellscape. Do yourself a favor and install mods to increase your stamina, and enable fast travel. Its far too large for its own good. How they havent revamped the guides this far along is insane.
