Of the Rusty Lake games, this one is my absolute favorite. I like the length of this game compared to the others, which gets lost as you're playing through different stories of different members of the Vanderboom family. Watching Albert's strange story unfold is always great, but my favorite sequence has to be Leonard's war flashback sequence.

The ability to reset a level did not seem to work if that level was finished. I had to restart the game to get an achievement I missed; design in later games works better for this issue. Other than that, interesting expansion of the lore. I am new to the series with Servant of the Lake's release and have been working my way through the games chronologically, so this is my third Rusty Lake game. It's cool to see how both the games and the Vanderbooms evolved over time.

One of my favorite Rusty Lake games so far. The family tree concept makes the story really engaging, and each chapter feels unique with its own puzzles and atmosphere. The puzzles are challenging but fair, and the creepy art style, music, and dark humor create an unforgettable experience. If you enjoy point-and-click puzzle games with a surreal story, this is definitely worth playing.
