Still early but I'm enjoying it. As simple as the game is it's nice trying out the characters and seeing the little gimmicks. Gonna keep coming back to it.
Fun and charming game. A nice entry for people without experience on Platform Fighters to learn and familiarize to some more advanced terms and techs. While for tryhards platform fighter players, there's a nice simple game where your fundaments are everything!
this game is so cool. i'm not sure i love how most attacks are focused on the side without any upwards movement, but other than that the stripped down movesets are really really fun and a smart choice. some stuff needs some polish (like the arcade mode instantly pushing you to the next stage rather than having any sort of jingle feels kind of unsatisfying), and i felt some mild performance issues, but like. other than those gripes this game is really really cool. such a cool art project and love letter to royalty free and public domain media. the game is worth supporting for that ALONE, don't even need to mention the gameplay is fun. it's got some decent singleplayer content too!!! really cool game, for it's price it's 100% worth

The sound effects go a long way in making the hits very satisfying! The music's great too!
The best Hand Drawn plat form fighter you can get your hands on! Made by dedicated people with a dedicated community that's super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to see where this game goes. Maybe Evo?
TLDR: this game feels great in terms of gameplay. not going too much into the art as you can see it in trailers but i love it. Long Version: i received the game early by funding on kickstarter and i'm heavily impressed with having an option for a 2d smash-like game with cartoon graphics. i can't state enough how much this game is targeted to me specifically. i have wanted this type of game for AGES. it feels very nice to play despite not having extensive directional attacks (i.e. no side/up/down attacks on a lot of moves). i could see myself putting many more hours into this. edit: i forgot to mention the online is actually really nice. pretty sure the disconnects were cause the game updated twice in a day. which is also why bigfoot is now unlockable. written as of 1.0.3
cool game and pretty pretty
Royalty Free-for-All is a game. Something like Divekick or Fantasy Strike, instead of course its a platform fighter drenched with the aesthetic and style of some beloved and well known public domain IP's. I got to say though it left me feeling empty and asking for so much more. Gameplay is way too simplistic, truly nothing to sink your teeth into, music that is tired and dated with remixes that feel truly royalty free. Not to mention visuals that partial work with some decent character designs and animations, it does get tiring staring at it for even a short period of time. I want to like this game man, seriously. Public domain IP's and a platform fighter is **** made for me but as long as they keep serving this up, i would recommend to stay away. If it is at such a steep discount maybe you and some friends could get something out of this but i just would just keep your money or buy another party game out there.
Royalty free for all is one of those games that you KNOW was made with ton of love, from the music, the amazing 2d animation, original designs and everything else! when these days video games using royalty free characters means a cheap horror game, it's so much fun to see people make something good and open to everyone ! if you want a friend to help learn platform fighters (smash like) this IS the right game, it's so simple, anyone can get it ! All and all, this game is proof copyright is stupid, everyone should be free to make anything out of properties!
