Review of the game Ropes And Dragons VR by nobodyshot, nobodyshot
Virtual game for the whole family. You can become a magician in a marvelous world. Take a lot of obstacles and feed the charming dragon by his favorite candies.

Information about how I review.
I have chosen another way of doing reviews on, as I am not the type of player that writes long reviews. I have therefor chosen to make my own review score, i will scoregame in 4 categories, being: [olist] [*]Graphics [*]Gameplay [*]Single-player / Multi-player [*]Price [/olist] I am not a fan of reading a wall of text, explaining why they may or may not like something about a game, for that reason i will not write my opinions but rather leave an individual score of each of the categories between 1-7. I have chosen for consistency sake, to use the same review score names as Valve has for their review scores. Sehr schön gestaltetes VR Puzzle-Spiel bei dem man geschickt Seile durchtrennen muss. Sehr liebevoll gestaltet und auch für Kinder geeignet. Der Preis von 1€ ist ist fast schon zu wenig! Got to the intro screen where I could see the artwork, hear the music, and see the entrances to the worlds, but nothing I did could make it so I could actually play. Looked in the community, apparently this is a problem with playing on Oculus Touch that has been there for a couple years now. So that's fun. Gonna see about getting a refund since I can't actually play this.
Yes.
EIn schönes Kniffelspiel, nicht nur für kleine Leute.
Если читаешь обзор,то просто хочу сказать "Удачного тебе дня"
детская но и мне понравилась, выкрути графику на максимум и вообще класс, легкая красочная головоломка
This games makes me feel really happy! Nice gameplay, gfx, music. In Vive looks much better than trailer. Maybe too easy, but it's ~ 50 levels of happiness. 10/10.

Apparently the game is similar to a very popular mobile app called “Cut the Rope” and if you are familiar with that, you’ll probably understand the goal of this game immediately. Described in my own words, you cut a rope or pop bubbles at certain times to get a piece of candy to a dragon. Most of the difficulty is perspective(is X below Y?) or timing the physics on swing cuts(is the candy going to go too far or too short?). Once you get a hang of everything – it’s far from difficult and I would rate it as a good game for family or less VR savvy players. The game is so simple in fact that it only uses one of the tracked motion controllers when you play. The strongest part of Ropes and Dragons VR in my mind is the price. I’d say for the length/difficulty it would be worth $5 but surprisingly – it is $0.99 USD currently on the Steam Store. At that price, it’s practically next to free. Rope and Dragons VR is apparently less than perfect though. I noticed on the forum/reviews for the game that a lot of people are having technical issues starting or playing the game. In the course of my own Let’s Play – I actually quit in frustration that I was unable to reset levels or access the game menu despite pointing and clicking at the options at the bottom. For some reason, I was able to reset levels earlier in the game but on the 4th world, I had an issue with the candy getting stuck and not being able to exit. The music itself is repetitive but fits a mobile game app style theme so I can’t expect Skyrim or something. Speaking more upon the difficulty – I would say it is definitely not progressive. For me, the most difficult puzzles were on the second stage(the snow one). I actually spent a bit of time on a couple levels there simply because of getting used to the physics, misunderstanding perspective of objects or cutting the rope when I meant to pop a bubble(or visa-versa). However, on the 3rd world(Island), I found it to be nearly as easy as the first level but keeping the newly introduced mechanics that were in world 2. World 4 I cannot comment much on as I got stuck due to a technical problem but it seemed to still be less difficult than World 2. The game is – for 99 cents, a game. You can win and there is goals. It is a simple time consumer and actually was enjoyable to play compared to some other stress relief style games that I reviewed like Catlateral Damage. I would say Ropes and Dragons VR is better and is only 10% the price in my opinion. For my two cents – it’s 100% worth the price even as a novelty as long as you’re able to start a game.
