Jacob White, a young man in need, took a job at an old motel. It seemed easy: clean rooms, survive the nights. But he soon noticed increasingly unsettling things. Adding to his pain was the recent loss of his wife.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Step into the dark world of Room Service, a narrative horror game with psychological elements.
You play as Jacob White, a man in desperate need of a job, who takes a position at an old motel. The tasks seem simple: cleaning and tidying up. But with each passing day, the thin veneer of normalcy begins to crack. Jacob’s struggle is further compounded by a personal tragedy: the recent death of his wife.
The events at the motel unfold from Jacob’s perspective as he reflects on the strange and increasingly unsettling occurrences he faced. The story is rich with subtle clues and shocking twists, complemented by scattered newspaper clippings, conversations, and other details Jacob uncovers during his work.
Psychological Tension: A growing sense of unease fueled by eerie sounds and a dark, oppressive atmosphere.
A Blend of Subtlety and Intensity: Horror elements range from creeping dread to sudden shocks, maintaining constant tension.
Interactive Gameplay: Clean rooms, tidy spaces, and more—until nothing feels normal anymore.
Scripted Horror: Every event is meticulously crafted to draw you deeper into the ominous narrative.
No Enemies, Just Fear: There’s no traditional monster chasing you. The threat is subtle, psychological, and ever-present.

I cannot recommend this game as it's too slow of a game with tedious tasks of going back and forth with one bit of trash at a time to put in the bin and nothing happening for a long time. When something does happen, it's so small and stupid that it's more of a comedy than a horror. It takes longer to scrub a bit of dirt of a wall in a room than how long the "scary" scenes take place To top it off the dialogue in the game is AI voicing that's so bad where it's even speaking out the actions the character is doing such as Tom at the motel "Slides a piece of paper towards you" It's just Dev being lazy and copy and pasting the script into an AI generator. It's definitely not worth the money the dev is charging in the current state of game play/dialogue. I even quit after 45 mins because I just got bored of doing the cleaning (Which probably about 30 mins of my game play was doing the chores of the motel in utter silence as there's no music or sounds but your scrubbing of your sponge) Requested a refund sadly.
only really fun on accident. very janky, bad ai voices, plot was bad and ends in a wet fart instead of anything interesting

I am sorry but it's really boring, you can't run but you have to take the trash out of the room to the bin that's on the other side. It takes 30 hours to clean and nothing happens for at least 30 minutes, it moves so slow that you can't even get scared anymore.
Repetitive and boring. Save your dollars.
WOW! Loved this game. The athmosphere was super scary. The story was very good. Decided to let the AI voices on for extra creepy experience. I'm excited to see what the DEV will make for future games. My community LOVED it. Thank you
I spent an entire half hour of my life cleaning "dirt" stains, which looked like ♥♥♥♥ stains, off of a fake motel wall for ONE jump scare which made me poop and leave a stain on my own wall. This game should be called "Hotel maid simulator 2025" Made me motion sick and was way too much busy work before i even got to anything good. In all honesty it has potential and i hope this creator revises his game and makes a better to the point one.
the game isn't working. some objects are missing (trash bin)which player cant complete tasks also the rooms are quite dark when it start as a pick and drop there is no need for extra darkness
For a first time indie horror developer, this was good! I think the story is a little slow, but that does help build an atmosphere. I don't like the AI dialogue - I'd rather just read it out loud. You can switch it off in the settings but that doesn't apply for the protagonist's recaps of each night. I thought the story was clever and a nice, spooky, short story. Gave a bit of a psychological lesson at the end! Well done!
