Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

May 1978. After a long drive through the night, you arrive at a lonely hotel. The lobby is empty, but someone has left a tape recorder on the reception counter. A single message plays:
“Your room is 713.”

Anomalies with a tint of True Crime. Room 713 blends classic anomaly-spotting Exit 8-style gameplay with a murder mystery narrative. Pay close attention to your surroundings. Notice something wrong? Head left. Everything in order? Go right. With every correct choice, you climb a floor. Every mistake sends you back to the start.
The game features over 40 anomalies. Can you spot them all?

Who are you? Why are you here? What is this place? Room 713 elevates the anomaly-spotting formula by adding a murder mystery plot for the player to unravel. Interact with the environment, collect items, and solve ARG-style puzzles to uncover the tragedy that took place.
Only by discovering the truth will you be able to break the loop.

15–90 minute experience

Even though I’m not a big fan of anomaly games, this one really surprised me. It offers more depth than just spotting anomalies, it feels like solving a case. What stands out the most is how well the game’s design creates immersion and atmosphere. It delivers real psychological horror, along with a few jump scares... Visually, the game looks great and it feels very polished. Although it can be demanding on PC, the graphics settings let you adjust it to your system. Overall, a very complete game. I loved it. If you’re undecided, I’d recommend giving it a try. (btw, I personally love that it has a leaderboard. See if you can catch me in the rankings!)

loved the eerie vibe, and quite a lot of animalies
I am a wimp so this is super scary for me LOL. But I am determined to come back and solve all the mysteries and hopefully get more than half of the achievements. It's much less scary than Visage, which I had to stop playing due to being too scared, BUT it is scarier than I thought! If you let it be. (i.e. actually go in the doors and not just "nope nope nope" your way out like I did in my first playthrough... LOL) There's a lot more mystery going on than I thought with just a glance on the Steam page, and it actually plays fantastic on the Steam Deck. Totally worth the buy.
This is a good anomaly game and is much more than spot the difference.. the only thing I think holding this back is the setting of a hotel. I can think of at least four other anomaly games where you're looking for differences in pictures, rearranged furniture, lighting, room numbers backwards etc. Even if this game had none of those and only unique ideas ... a player is still looking for those types of anomalies. I hope the developer has success with this game but with this setting it is just too late to the party.
At first glance, Room 713 may seem like yet another Exit 8, but it has surprisingly way more depth. - The level is significantly bigger than your average anomaly game (3 rooms + corridor + lobby, although the latter has no anomalies) - The selection of anomalies is varied. You have your lore anomalies, your scary anomalies, your subtle anomalies and even a couple goofy ones. - There's an actual story being told here. - You can interact with almost everything in the level. I'd argue the game has some RE7 inspiration, given the puzzles and the inspection/interaction. - There are items/inventory. During some anomalies, you can find certain objects that you keep between game sessions, giving some sort of meta progression which I found interesting. - The game's endings are impactful and further emphasise that "detective" feeling when you are presented with essentially a game of Clue, having to answer who's the killer, the victim, the weapon used, the date etc. - It has some QoL features such as a hint system, an anomaly compendium, and different game modes. Overall a fresh take in an otherwise kind of stagnated genre. A really polished game in a genre filled with asset flip slop.
Super Spiel! Hat richtig starken The Shining-Vibe. Psychologisch ziemlich fordernd, weil man nie weiß, was hinter der Treppe wartet. Anomalie? Links. Keine? Klare Empfehlung :)
Can’t launch on RX 9070 XT :( Works fine on another GPU, so this might be a compatibility issue. Really wanted to stream this game. Hope it gets fixed soon! Here is my channel. I plan to play and feature Room 713 once the issue is resolved: https://www.youtube.com/@GAMEOTAKULIVE
