I recently had the oppartunity to play Robosquad Revolution during its Early Access phase, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the game. From the moment I started playing, I was captivated by the immersive world and engaging gamepay. One of the standout features of Robosquad Revolution is the stunning graphics and visual effects, The attention to detal in the emvronments and the intricate designs of the robots truly bring the game to life. It was a joy to explore different levels and witness the vibrant colors and smooth animations. The gameplay itself is increcibly addictive. The controls are intultive and responsive, allowing for seamless movement and precise actions. Overall, Robosquad Revolution has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I can't walt to see what the full release has in store, and I highly recommend giving it a try during its Early Access phase.
🎯3rd Person Arena Shooter🔫 This is a game that reminds me of how the layout and weapons are obtained on the map to old Quake games and old GoldSource games(the original Half-Life engine) with multiplayer elements combined with the dead but not forgotten Loadout. 🎮Gameplay When you start the game you are greeted by a registration screen that, if you are playing in Steam will pass, getting you to the player dashboard. It is a very confusing dashboard because it's hard to customize your loadouts and player customization, sometimes it doesn't work properly making very confusing the ability selection. There were packages in the shop that didn't have any Icons and like all the dashboard was also confusing. Continuing, there's a level system that isn't very rewarding. I won 2 gun-play modes being the best player and I didn't get much EXP, winning a match doesn't reward much EXP. This system doesn't have a clear objective or incentives for me to play. When you enter into a server or use quick play you will be matched with other players in a randomized game mode that can vary on the typical team play with 2 teams or an unbalanced gun-play mode(you can use abilities to heal yourself or the thing that breaks this mode, having grenades, I suggest to disable abilities in this mode) similar to CoD, CSGO, etc... There are also 3 maps. I liked the dessert arena with the purple metal thing in the middle of the map. I've noticed a bug or bad gameplay design when you fall off the gaps of that centre area, you respawn without any penalty so if you have low HP, you can abuse those gaps to don't have any deaths in your score. Regarding the weapons, I think they are well thought out because the sniper has only 2 shots and limited ammo, if you go to a risky area you can get a grenade launcher or a rocket launcher like in Quake. You have movement mechanics that are hooked on your loadout options. This game feels good to play overall, when you fix and make more clear the dashboard and level system, if it's advertised well and you take care of the game, it has a bit of potential. 🎨Art The UI, Player Dashboard, Loadouts, Shop, etc... Are hideous, confusing and a bit unresponsive. It should be easier just pressing the play button instead of having you choose a "server" or use "quickplay". I just wanted to press a button and play. I would like to have a clear UI overall, this are my impressions I didn't mean to offend. Talking about the graphics of the game, they are very goofy, The Train and The Dessert maps are visually pleasing and fit with the aesthetics. The white, blank arena is ugly(but enjoyable from a gameplay perspective). Character design, weapons, etc... are goofy and I liked that and they are cohesive with the aesthetics as well. Finally, the music can be repetitive but the SFX are good. 🔧Things to consider -Improve UI design to be more clear. -Make better and more clear the EXP system. -The dessert map had an issue I described if you fell off the centre gap. Here are some screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/dgBwgA5 🖥️Tested in this PC ·Processor: Ryzen 5 3600 3.6GHz(6c/12th) ·RAM: 16 GB ·GPU: Radeon RX 590 Series ·Tons of storage more than enough to fit Ark Survival or the latest COD ·Resolution: 1920 x 1080 ·OS: Windows 11 ·Ran at 60 FPS lowering all except a few settings like textures. ❤️Final thoughts I think this game has great ideas from a gameplay perspective, it is fun to play but the UI design and EXP system aren't so well thought out something a bit common in an early access stage of development. Is a decent enough arena shooter that if it keeps on improving it will have a bright future. This is a review of the early access version of 02/11/2023

The game is very fun and with many extra mechanics, it is not just another shooting game. The maps are well designed and balanced, encouraging exploration and creating a satisfactory scenario for the number of simultaneous players. The music is very good and the addition of having an MP3 from which to select the music seems like a sublime detail. It has interesting mechanics that give a certain freshness to the shooter genre, making it a little more frenetic. It is a game that is very enjoyable with friends.
I'm not a FPS player, but I LOVE this game. I love the designs, the voices, sound effects! I see a lot of potential in this game. The devs are amazing and will respond to any feedback and bug reports you have. I'm a streamer so it's not out of the ordinary to have them even pop up during my streams (once while not even playing the game!) So I love very responsive devs. They work hard and it's very obvious Does it have bugs? Sure, pretty much everytime I open the game. But, it is still in beta and they always acknowledge the issues whenever I bring them up. Just join their Discord and keep them up to speed! This game brings me nostalgia and reminds me of being 14 playing TF2 over 15 years ago. I'd love to see how it grows!
Great game for early access. Lots of fun, good style, good wit. Excited to see where this goes.
Nota: 6.0/10 (Baseado no estado atual do Beta)
