Great level based 3D platformer with a very fun aesthetic and lively music. Took a little to get used to, but feels like they were able to get a lot of mileage out of the relatively simple controls. I hope they get to make another game as the later levels showed they have plenty of platforming ideas left, but the execution feels a little janky at times. Feels like the movement isn't quite fluid/precise enough to work with all the great platforming ideas they have. Also some bosses are a bit over the top projectile wise but not in a good way for a platformer. Played mostly on steam deck, pretty good experience but if you want a stable framerate especially in the later levels you have to lock to 30fps with is a slight shame. Overall would recommend if you're a big 3D platformer fan.
This is not Jet Set Radio. Its a fast platformer game with some fun music and great graffiti designs. It might be hell to try and 100% but it you just wanna go fast and beat the levels you can have alot of fun.

Hack-and-slash brawler platformer with simple combat design but it's fun. Has cool parkour elements. The artwork is incredible, the style is amazing, and the music is really good. It's one of the most stylized and beautiful games I've ever played.
Всё прикольно, но ласт фаза босса ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Еле прошла. А доп левел после босса закинула, нервы уже сдали
If you plan to play it casually, and ignore simple story, or not too deep platforming or pretty easy difficulty most of the game. It is nice chill game. It can get frustrating sometimes, at specific spots, but nothing that cannot be overcome. It could become really tedious if you want to do 100% achievements. Just don't... Play it for fun... Sure, if you want to pick few challenges ... go for it... but I think, if you want to do 100% game you need to play every level multiple times, and I wouldn't enjoy the game that way... Perfect game ? No. Good enough to play casually ? Yea. Just sit back and enjoy the music and flow. Enemies are very easy most of the time most of the game. Even bosses. I played it on Steam Deck most of the time. I was playable, but I need to set everything pretty low... and Steam Controller 1 was also good enough when Steam Deck was docked. Any standard controller would do OK probably.

[ This is love letter with some unsettling tones too] I love this game its one of the best I have played in a long time. is fast paced sonic like speeds with mario coin collecting with other inspirations as well. I like the character design tha was created it feels like a magical cyberpunk world with great feminine undertones that lets women shine. the main character feels like me. however the dialog boxes with that have transparent backgrounds were a little distracting as it made it look like they were Unity assets that were just thrown in there so it made it look a little unpolished in that regard. the devs could have just kept the white text and put a decent sized black stroke around it and it would have looked better. and I wish the game was longer such as 10-12 stages per area atleast and more clothing styles that just went beyond just changing the color of the clothes which felt slightly lazy. With all that being said, because the game relies heavily on graffiti art including used to beat bosses which is a unique mechanic in itself. I also feel that the main character should have been black or at the very least had Unlockable playable characters that were a variety of POC each with their own unique abilities. it felt slightly offensive that there were none in the game and we know that the very first graffiti artist was Daryl "Cornbread" McCray a legend in his own right.
Fun game! The dialogue is absolutely terrible but it's very easy to ignore and the game itself is very fun
RKGK / Rakugaki caught my eye due to combo of its NPR cel shaded visuals, anime-esque lead character, vibrant cyberpunk theme and being developed by a studio not located in Asia. Seeing how Gearbox was doing the publishing I also wanted to see if there was any visual similarities between this game and the Borderlands series. I approached this game with the intent to study the visual production rather than to really play it. As a gamer I'm just not a fan of speedrunning platformer racing games like this, but figured it could serve as a good little reference study. Visually it was more appealing from a distance and in screenshots. When I got my hands on the game and started messing with it the initial allure died quite quickly. I knew the would feature a lot of vibrant and loud graphics, but the amount of saturated colors that assaults your eyes in this game becomes quite taxing after a while. Vibrant neon color is a common element in cyberpunk themed entertainment but Wabisabi Games leaned into it a bit too heavy here, to the point that things bleeds together and nullify each other. Valah , the lead character seems to be inspired by the cast from Jet Set Radio but lacks the memorable designs and silhouettes that they had. Making globally appealing semi-realistic characters in games with NPR rendering and that isnt 100% anime-styled is not easy. If the iconic Psycho from Borderlands is one of the most 'famous' cel shaded game characters from outside Asia, he simply cannot come close to the popularity and fandom of MiHoyo, Atlus, ShiftUp or Cygames characters. In other words, Valah is a generic cyberpunk character I dont even remember when I close my eyes. Which is a shame because the 3D character model is nicely done and lands somewhere between western super hero comics and anime in proprotions. Unfortunately Wabisabi Games did not go all the way making a seperate shader or SDF maps for Valah's face, which is haunted by god awful jagged shadows that is making Valah a far cry from a traditional pretty anime face. Similar to Borderlands the character cel shading and the outlines in RKGK / Rakugaki is quite crude and one-note. The environments are as one would expect from a non-Asian studio trying to do a cyberpunk-themed game with NPR visuals, oblivious to the convention seperating the rendering pipelines of the characters to the environments and NOT to bring cel shaded outlines into the environment. It looks ok at times, similar to how Borderlands can look ok, but it's an aquired taste. The 3D graffiti in the end of the levels is a fun and creative set piece that I took a mental note of. Gameplay its a speedrunning 3D platformer. Think I had my fill of games like that in my youth and now its hard to motivate myself to play them. That being said, spraying and sliding around on the ground feels nice! And the controls are responsive. This game just isnt for me so I doubt I will continue playing it. I still will give it a recommendation becasue I'm always supportive of studios doing games with NPR and anime-styled visuals.
