Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Ring of Elysium, and apparently somebody looked at battle royale games and thought, “You know what this needs? Skiing, snowstorms, climbing, helicopters, and a hundred armed lunatics fighting over the privilege of not freezing to death.” Fantastic. Finally, a survival strategy I can get behind. You drop into a giant frozen wasteland, start scavenging for weapons and supplies, and immediately realize that you're not just fighting other players. You're fighting the weather. Congratulations, kiddo. You survived the guy with the assault rifle. Now enjoy hypothermia. And I love the movement. Ski down a mountain. Climb a wall. Glide through the air. Zipline across the map. Drive a vehicle. Basically, anything is better than simply walking like a normal human being. At Hyperion, we'd call that premium transportation. Then the shooting starts. Someone hears you. You hear them. Nobody moves. You're both hiding behind trees for approximately four minutes, each waiting for the other idiot to make the first mistake. Eventually somebody throws a grenade. Everybody dies. Excellent negotiations. And let's talk about the extraction mechanic. The whole point isn't just surviving until you're the last person alive. You actually need to make it to the extraction point and get out. Which sounds simple. It isn't. You make it through the entire match. You've got weapons. You've got supplies. You're feeling confident. Then you see the extraction zone. There's another player. They're between you and salvation. You have two choices. Fight them. Or freeze to death. Excellent customer service. The game definitely has its problems. The player base can be unpredictable, some matches can feel painfully quiet, and eventually you realize you've spent fifteen minutes looting buildings just to get shot by someone hiding in a bush. But when everything comes together, it's genuinely fun. The combination of survival, battle royale mechanics, vertical movement, and extreme weather gives it a personality that a lot of similar games don't have. And honestly, I respect a game where the map itself is actively trying to kill me. That's competition. That's capitalism. That's Tuesday at Hyperion. 8/10, kiddo. Fun, tense, surprisingly unique, and just ridiculous enough to keep you coming back. I'd give it a 9, but apparently the game thinks freezing to death is an acceptable gameplay mechanic. At Hyperion, we have climate control. Invest in infrastructure, people. Sucks it got shut down.
çok efsane değeri bilinmeyen bir oyun.
Это было круто
Le Battle royale là... quand il était là, avec des joueurs et joueuses connectés... le jeu aurait pu cartonner !
