About
Rifted Earth is a survival FPS/TPS set in a world shattered by an alien invasion and unstable rift fractures. You play as a survivor in the region of New Bohemia, where humanity is trying to understand rift energy and uncover what the aliens are really planning. Your main goal is to gather resources, build a safe base, and gradually discover why the invaders came in the first place.

New Bohemia is an open area combining coastline, forests, ruined urban zones, and alien structures. Rift fractures appear and disappear, disrupting the environment and triggering unexpected events. As you explore, you uncover what the explosion of the alien core caused and why the invaders are constructing a massive structure that’s reshaping the entire region.
Combat can be played in either FPS and TPS perspective. You’ll face various alien units — infantry, drones, patrols, and heavy troops. Weapons can be crafted or modified from materials you find. Alien technology can be dismantled and reused in crafting. The pacing shifts between quiet exploration and intense encounters that can quickly turn the situation around.
You must manage hunger, thirst, fatigue, and dynamic weather that can escalate into toxic storms or rift energy pulses. Your inventory has limited capacity, forcing you to choose carefully what you carry. Surviving requires planning, resource gathering, and constantly adapting to changing conditions.
At the workbench, you can craft gear, tools, medicine, and weapons. Equipment can be upgraded over time — from basic items to advanced materials. New recipes unlock based on what you discover, collect, or bring back from rifts. Crafting is essential for long-term survival and for progressing into more dangerous areas.
Every player can build their own base. Structures can be made from different materials, ranging from wood to alien components. Your base serves as a shelter, storage, and crafting hub. A well‑built home allows you to venture deeper into hostile zones and take bigger risks.
Rifts are unstable portals that can lead to the past, other locations on the planet, or parallel worlds. Each rift has different stability, risks, and rewards. Inside, you can find rare materials, unique loot, or information about alien technology. Unstable rifts can collapse at any moment, so you need to act quickly and think ahead.
You’re free to explore the environment, search for shelters, abandoned bases, crashed ships, or alien devices. Your goals are to survive, gather resources, uncover the story, and gradually approach the alien megastructure that holds the key to the entire invasion. Exploration rewards curiosity and often leads to new crafting opportunities — or unexpected threats.
Rifted Earth offers multiplayer survival in FPS/TPS. Players can join public servers or create their own. Dynamic rifts and random events ensure that every playthrough feels different. Player interactions create situations that can lead to cooperation, trading, or conflict.
The soundtrack is dark and inspired by sci‑fi ambient. Rift energy, alien machinery, and storm effects build a constant sense of danger — from the environment as well as other players. The atmosphere focuses on uncertainty, isolation, and the gradual breakdown of the world.
