I went into this game very hopeful! the implementation of AI stuff is really cool! the fact that there is a system set up for weapons and combat is genuinely awesome! but when I played this just now I was the only person on the ACTUAL PLANET PLAYING THIS GAME this game is unfortunately dead.
the game is pretty fun so far from what i've played. from the grind to get exp for skills in different i guess you can say kinda classes from guns, bare hand fights, swords, healer, fire magic to the weapon items them self. i say for a free VR social/rpg game it's definitely one you should try for yourself. i mean why not it's free and they even got a discord you can join to see what updates they drop and to chat with other players.

worst game ive ever played runs at 0.1 fps on my 3070ti pc when you go to join worlds it says 0 players on every single one its seriously garbage and the people i saw in the quest version were all boomers i dont reccomend this game dont even bother downloading it
This game had so much potential. But lack of advertising (or at least, decent advertising) killed it. RiffXR relies on social interaction. Unfortunately, the worlds are completely dead. Which is a shame, because what this game offers is something I think most VR players have been searching for since Ready Player One hit cinemas.
Started game, got confused on why this game tries to be something it doesn't promise as there are many many elements missing (Like the talked about "wrist-menu"). Went into a Karaoke bar world to then find out videos won't load on my end. During that process tho I learned on how to actually interact with the NPCs. Went back to get further insight into the first quest of killing 10 Zombies. Asked the NPC on how to reload my gun as I couldn't figure out on how and the NPC just said: "to reload your gun, Press R", so, couldn't figure out how to reload, and then stoped playing and uninstalled as I just got overwhelmed and frustrated. Kinda 4/10 experience, would love to give it another shot once it had more updates and properly works as intended! PS; Please get rid of the Fortnite Skins and the joke Avatars like "Captain USA" and "Iron Human". Let people make their genuine own creations ingame and go with the Idea of "Ready Player One", as this was the idea of it. (At the moment no Recommend, maybe if it gets better definetly recommendation worth)
The character models are low quality, barely any users on the game, looks NOTHING at all like the thumbnail, & the genarative AI is very janky. The game mechanics are also very confusing.
very fun. wish it had more players
When there's people online it's great. If no one's online, it kinda sucks. The lack of a tutorial also is not great, but back in 2025 this game did have a community that was somewhat active. If you wanted to know about something you could ask someone. Alas, no one really plays anymore. (I play on standalone btw)
