______________________ Basically, it’s a distilled, ultra-minimalist RPG: progression, rewards, and ever-faster growth. Surprisingly simple, yet incredibly satisfying.
Calls itself an Idle game even though it's not. You can't do any meaningful progression by leaving your computer running. You have to monitor the game 24/7 or else you will be stuck for a couple hundred hours. Great example is dilation tree, the in game help section has a whole dedicated page for this level with 40 different stages that you have to switch between almost constantly. In my almost 700 hours I've only reached dilation tree and that's only 40% of the base game. What do animals, stars, tarot cards or minerals have to do with circles going faster and faster? The dev has lost the plot a long time ago. If you still wish to play this game follow the n1 rated steam guide. ps, The game has microtransactions
fun
This game feels like it's fighting you every step of the way. Convenience features always unlock just a few steps too late (What do you MEAN 32 Eternities to get the next Break, when it's already a solved problem after 15 tops?), the automation mechanics are frustratingly opaque and don't work consistently AT ALL... I really REALLY want to like this game more than I do. I genuinely wish it were better. Maybe it improves again later! As it stands I am just so infuriated that I have to slog through another dozen Eternities in order to START maybe hypothetically having fun again, all the while the Macro UI makes me want to find the designer and sit them down for a two-hour exit interview from the industry. TL;DR I feel like years of development focused on prolonging and extending the end-game without going back to improve or refine the earlier layers has made Revolution Idle totally inaccessible to new players.
it feels good to play the game. i strived alot of the time cause of the achievements and wanting to reach higher in the game. even tho it takes a long while eventually it gets faster and more fun for the people who like these type of games.
circle goes brrr
