I really wanted this to be a great front-end for all of my retro gaming, All the roms, all the screenshots, all shaders in one place with steam overlay. Interface is a bit of a mess to use with a mouse, but that is nothing new. Some cores are not available on steam, but you can transfer them from non-steam version of RetroArch, like i did with NekoProjectKai, so that's not an issue. Biggest problem is that some cores are outdated or dont work properly? I had problems playing Devil May Cry 3 and Mario Sunshine, where some in-game scripts didn't run and i was softlocked, these problems were not present on standalone emulator versions of PCSX2 and Dolphin. If you are curious, i was softlocked on mission 18 in DMC 3 and Noki Bay in Sunshine. And yes, i did spend few hours trying to fix each by swapping around drivers and toggling settings. Standalone emulators are more accurate and work better, and much less of a hassle to configure using mouse and keyboard. Also lead dev is not a good person apparently, but im not the one to judge a person i never met. TLDR: Just use standalone emulators

mother 1 remake so good
Great for running NES emulators. Techmo Bowl, Tysons Punch Out, Mario Bros, Etc. Works great!
Excelente emulador!!
I can't think of anything funny for an emulator, so I'll just say it's pretty good for anything before the PS2, although with the DS, PS1, and Gamecube, I would suggest using a different emulator. DreamCast is the newest I've gotten to run well without crashing, but that was on a completely different device, so I could test it again. Then again I genuinely do not care nearly enough to do that. I have mostly stopped emulating games because I find that it gets boring and stale and playing the original, on the original hardware, is significantly more enjoyable, and can make games I otherwise wouldn't have played, something I could get into. A very good example is Star Fox. Although I don't have an original SNES, I do have the SNES retro console Nintendo released and it actually got me playing Star Fox.
