Retro Rally

After the update, the game completely met my expectations. From time to time, I enter the game and challenge myself. My mind is clearing, it feels good.

Before update - Graphics wise I think it's cool for a chill game. Not a fan of the explosions every time you pass a checkpoint. My biggest issue is the controls. I hate WASD. If you can change it controller or at the very least the arrow buttons. I think it would go a long way in terms of repeat play ability. Edit 11/13: There is finally controller support which makes it 100x more enjoyable. Now it's a fun game to play!

The game has really become amazing after the latest update. I like that the developer is actively involved with the game.

I have 74 minutes in this game, and I've already beat it. Only the last track took me at least 20 minutes and many many retries, and I failed on other tracks, too. We're safe to say there's less than 1 hour of content in this game. Around 45 minutes of content. There are many other annoying things in this game, but I don't want to destroy my keyboard by writing a book here, I could say much, much more, but long story short, Old School Rally is just better in everything. This game is trashy for its price. Buy it only on sale.

$3 is a fair asking price. The mouse stays on screen when I'm using my controller, some of the buttons on my XBox controller aren't usable in game, the co-driver gives you directions way too late. If I had better music, car sound, and slightly brighter maps, I might've enjoyed it more than I did. For $3 it's alright. I wouldn't charge more until the fixes above have been addressed or people are going to start giving bad reviews.

​Compré Retro Rally con la esperanza de disfrutar de una experiencia de carreras nostálgica, pero lamentablemente, el juego no cumple con las expectativas. A pesar de que mi ordenador tiene especificaciones modestas, el juego presenta problemas de rendimiento inaceptables: en ocasiones arranca, pero otras veces no, lo que indica una falta de optimización y pruebas adecuadas por parte de los desarrolladores.​ Además, la jugabilidad es inconsistente y frustrante. Aunque se promociona como un homenaje a los clásicos de carreras arcade, la realidad es que los controles son imprecisos y la física del juego es poco realista, lo que dificulta disfrutar de las carreras. Los tiempos de carga son excesivamente largos, incluso después de carreras cortas, lo que interrumpe el flujo del juego y añade más frustración.​ En resumen, Retro Rally es una decepción en múltiples aspectos. Los problemas técnicos, la jugabilidad deficiente y la falta de optimización hacen que este juego no valga la pena, incluso a su bajo precio. Recomiendo encarecidamente a otros jugadores que eviten esta compra y busquen alternativas más sólidas en el género de carreras retro.
