About
Build and manage your ultimate retro arcade! Buy classic Arcade Machines, Galaxy Pinball, and Gift Claw games, or invest in Cinema 8D, Go-Karts, and Racing Simulators. Manage the economy, hire staff, and keep every machine running!
Step into the neon-lit world of the past and build the ultimate entertainment center in Retro Arcade Shop Simulator. Start with a humble, dusty venue and gradually transform it into a booming, large-scale arcade business. Buy nostalgic arcade cabinets, organize your floor plan to maximize customer flow, and watch the tokens roll in. Whether you want to recreate a cozy 80s hangout spot or build a massive, multi-room gaming paradise, you have the tools to bring your retro tycoon dreams to life.
Growing your business takes more than plugging in a few machines. You’ll need to manage a token economy across four different currencies, watch your hourly income, and take out bank loans to fund your expansions.
Unlock up to 10 unique rooms and fill them with a variety of attractions. Offer your customers classic Air Hockey, Pinball, and Whack-A-Mole, or invest in high-end Plane Simulators, Bowling Alleys, Go-Kart tracks, and immersive 8D Cinemas. When crowds get overwhelming, hire cashiers, cafeteria workers, and token collectors so no customer ever waits in line.
Make the arcade truly yours with deep interior customization. Choose from dozens of wall and floor textures, add vibrant graffiti murals, and set the perfect mood with neon lighting, signs, and decorative plants. You’ll also need to keep your customers fueled by managing a cafeteria - serve burgers, pour drinks, and sell gaming magazines or CDs to maximize your daily profits.
Heavy use takes its toll. Cabinets break down, screens go dark, and a dead machine is a machine that isn't making you money. Service and repair your hardware, mop the floors, empty the token boxes, and keep the whole venue in working order. Do it all yourself to save money in the early days, then hire repairmen and cleaners once the crowds get too big to handle alone. Blend relaxing business progression with an unforgettable nostalgic atmosphere and become the ultimate arcade tycoon!

okay okay... Yes it is a great game... but!! i like sometimes games are a bit harder to get stuff like money is low and bills are up there so you got a reason to keep fightning. just me i guess.... next i feel like a runner no help for storage or people to fill the shelf !!.... it takes away the fun Next let the npc ask questions or request stuff from the manger complines whatever... so we have something that matters for the shop... there is no reason to set items higher or lower to sell becouse as i said... no bills to pay or any problems what so ever... so its to easy ( but i like the game and i like the items the workers are perfect no issues at all... so Good job ... but give us a bit more thanks :)

Simulation Games are some of my favorite and this is the first time I felt the need to comment on a game because I just think one thing that was left out is just unacceptable. Not having restocking employees in a store simulation game of any kind of egregious. It comes down to you just stocking things over and over every single day and it sucks the fun out of the game. I enjoy many other aspects but that got tiring quickly. So, if they add those and add labels to organize then I will enjoy it more. The other issues are more minor and can be changed over time...adding more options being one (I was wanting some furniture really bad like tables for the dining area). Also, even with three coin collectors my machines fill up and sit there which is ridiculous. I still enjoyed some of my time spent on the game but I cannot recommend until more is added and fixed. I will keep on the lookout and change my review later if I see the updates.
I really wish this had a "eh" or a middle opetion. the game is fun, but it's also in total about 4 hours of the same loop. so in one run i got to the point where i could take the full 6000$ loans from the bank, and pay them back same day, and still have postive income. So it's a fun little shop keeping sim, but it's not long lived and there really isnt much challange to it.
Good game so far but I think it could be better with even more food items. There’s something that’s not quite itching the scratch I need as a long time simulator player and I’m not quite sure what that is….all the core parts of what makes a simulator a simulator is definitely there already in this early release….but something is missing and for the life of me I can’t figure out what. Another thing I think would be cool is to give players an opportunity to turn their arcade into a franchise! design different arcades…maybe experiment with the idea of making a multi-floor building with more activities for customers….perhaps a bar couldn’t hurt
Solid 8/10 sim game. 12-15 hours is pretty reasonable for this game if you want to decorate and experience everything it has to offer. For $8.99 that's not bad at all and it seems there will be more content over time. Much like seemingly every other sim out these days, it released with just too little content but again, it's $9.
Enjoying the game so far! It is still early access so I look forward to seeing what else comes out of the game! I have a few recommendations based on issues I've run in to- -Add a pallet cart or something so we can bring in more than 1 box at a time -Some way to 'fix' or 'clean the existing arcade games. Once the durability goes down the dirt on the machines is an irritating eyesore for me -A tutorial regarding running the cafe. I was so lost when I bought the shop expansion and that thing just popped out of nowhere. I had no idea what I was doing -The customers were looking for items as soon as I unlocked them regardless of whether I had actually purchased them for the arcade. Eliminating that aspect until the item is actually in my arcade would be nice! -More food items for the cafe -I don't have an issue with the AI but proof checking the items in the game would be a good idea. Having a bag of "BBO" chips with a chocolate chip cookie on it or a soda with a donut on it is a bit silly and breaks immersion If you aren't bothered by AI and just want a base build your own arcade game without a ton of customization (yet I hope) then I would recommend.
I like the game, i know its an early access so please add restocker and a handcart to grab more boxes at once ASAP xD
There are a few things id like to see first off either getting help stocking and bringing items in...2nd i would love to see tags for locations make it easier to manage all the items your selling most importantly i would love to see a hand cart if you cant get assistance from the employees one box at a time is so tedious. i love the mini games to fix the games heres hoping they can add more complicated mini games later perhaps with wires i would love to also see more options for hired workers such as you can go cheap on this employee but hes not fast or not as efficient at fixing things.... you pay for what you get kinda deal.. any way im loving this game im hoping for more content so that it doesn't get stale as for know im LOVING IT..... amazing for the price.....
This game has potential. With the right updates and such. Its definitely in early access and might take a while for full release. Its fun to pass the time but its not a simulator I can play for hours yet. I hope they take the time and listen to the players and add new things and make the game fun to were it gets to wanna play longer.
