Retro Arcade Shop Simulator

I like the game, i know its an early access so please add restocker and a handcart to grab more boxes at once ASAP xD

Enjoying the game so far! It is still early access so I look forward to seeing what else comes out of the game! I have a few recommendations based on issues I've run in to- -Add a pallet cart or something so we can bring in more than 1 box at a time -Some way to 'fix' or 'clean the existing arcade games. Once the durability goes down the dirt on the machines is an irritating eyesore for me -A tutorial regarding running the cafe. I was so lost when I bought the shop expansion and that thing just popped out of nowhere. I had no idea what I was doing -The customers were looking for items as soon as I unlocked them regardless of whether I had actually purchased them for the arcade. Eliminating that aspect until the item is actually in my arcade would be nice! -More food items for the cafe -I don't have an issue with the AI but proof checking the items in the game would be a good idea. Having a bag of "BBO" chips with a chocolate chip cookie on it or a soda with a donut on it is a bit silly and breaks immersion If you aren't bothered by AI and just want a base build your own arcade game without a ton of customization (yet I hope) then I would recommend.

Good game so far but I think it could be better with even more food items. There’s something that’s not quite itching the scratch I need as a long time simulator player and I’m not quite sure what that is….all the core parts of what makes a simulator a simulator is definitely there already in this early release….but something is missing and for the life of me I can’t figure out what. Another thing I think would be cool is to give players an opportunity to turn their arcade into a franchise! design different arcades…maybe experiment with the idea of making a multi-floor building with more activities for customers….perhaps a bar couldn’t hurt

Hey, an arcade game where I don't have to actually run a laundry instead. Awesome. I usually wait a little longer before I review, but I played the demo a ton. Runs great. I always keep my frames locked at 120 because that's what my monitor can do, and it hasn't dropped below that. My PC isn't even breaking a sweat (specs included below). CPU never tops about 35 percent usage and my GPU is in the mid 50s. Haven't noticed any bugs. The game has a solid amount of content. Lots of machines to add, and a lot of other things, as well. You can put in PCs and consoles. You have a bowling alley, a cafe and go-karts (eventually). Customization options are plentiful with lots of decorations, wall coverings and flooring. The employees work well. I wish there was a stocker employee, but the devs said they are working on something related to this. After the first few in-game days, progression feels borderline hectic, so I've not gotten bored. No balancing problems. Overall a very good modern shop sim. Not the huge amount of depth you might have expected 10 years ago, but on par with the best of the post "Supermarket Simulator" era games.

This game is banging!!!! They do need to add in at least one more employee who stocks everything though

I LOVE this game! The start of it was kind of overwhelming, having to take care of and constantly fix the broken arcade machines and also check customers out. Then I unlocked the cafeteria and then everything had me stressin'. Once you finally are able to hire employees though, it all starts flowing much smoother and becomes less stressful. Dislikes I have with the game... - The inventory drop off area is far and when carrying magazines & game discs (especially when every single magazine and game disc is in one box) it becomes an absolute chore going back and forth while only being able to carry one box at a time. Same thing when refilling vending machines. One. Box. At. A. Time. It got to the point where I dreaded having to restock my magazine and game shelves. Most of the times I just left them empty for that reason. I would love to see something added in a later update which allows you to carry more than one box or maybe use a dolly ha-ha! - The arcade games are CONSTANTLY breaking down and/or having electrical malfunctions (sometimes both at the same time). You'll fix it and then 2 seconds later another one breaks down. I also didn't realize that the machines seem to start getting old. This was not explained in the tutorial either. When you go up to a machine, you'll see what looks like basically a health bar. It was day 21 and the first few arcade machines I opened with were all red and very little health. I knew it was a problem because customers would make comments about the machine being "dusty". - The game also doesn't tell you how to sell things you either bought by accident or you need to replace because it's old. I had to Google it and apparently, you have to box it up and throw it in a trash can. What I love about the game... - I've never played an arcade simulator and I have to say, I really have enjoyed the time I've spent playing. I found myself ending a day and saying "Just one more day." over and over, not wanting to stop. I really like the different arcade machines the game offers. Trucking simulator, airplane simulator,... you can even purchase game consoles for clients to play which comes with a sofa and everything! - I LOVE the Jukebox/radio player in this game and how you're able to upload your own MP3 files. Huge props to the devs because not many simulation games offer stuff like this. It makes my gaming experience a lot more enjoyable. - The way you can change the light colors and the intensity in every room is sick. My whole arcade is a nice bright neon purple all the way through (except for the bowling room, I felt like keeping that bright white so the pins would be easier to see). Overall, Retro Arcade simulator is well worth the money, especially if you're a big fan of simulator games like me. I highly recommend you grab this game!!
