ReThink | Evolved

Ein paar neue Mechaniken im Vergleich zum ersten Teil. Die Cubes richtig zu platzieren ist ein wenig mühselig und man muss ebenfalls aufpassen, diese nicht wieder umzustoßen. Insgesamt aber dennoch klasse und schön ein paar neue Ideen zu sehen. Würde trotzdem jedem empfehlen, mit dem ersten ReThink Teil zu beginnen.

What a great intro into the whole ReThink-series, super clean visuals, calming background music, amazing learning curve with incresingly more complex cubes and ways to solve puzzles. Two different paths through the whole game, so you can play the game twice with different puzzles. (The last puzzle in the orange path is mindblowing, I don't even know how you could come up with that) A small but interesting backstory with constant updates on your tablet. After playing I immediately bought the whole series. I hope they are as good if not better than the first one, I'm excited. If you enjoy lasers, mirrors, colors and fidget spinners, this is the game for you.

The lost cousin of Portal games I have been looking for. I thank the developer for providing such a nice game. Keep up the good work mate.

Absolute banger,, a must try for everyone who liked Portal and similar games.

A fun puzzle game. Levels are short and numerous, but thankfully there's no padding: each new challenge you encounter is meaningfully distinct and usually nudges you towards a better understanding of the mechanics. I also liked the alternate blue/orange paths, once I finished the game I immediately went back to try the paths I hadn't picked the first time.

I had a lot of fun with this game! The basic idea is much the same as the original ReThink, there are lasers to redirect, combine, split, and block. But there are also fresh elements like cubes, antigravity fields and more! It was very interesting to try the Rethink formula in a more freeform way, and I think that it will appeal more to the vast majority of players than the original ReThink. The increase in freedom (less built-in restrictions) made the game much more of a think outside the box game rather than the more cold hard logic of the original. It also made the game MUCH easier in my opinion. Despite a similar amount of puzzle rooms, this one took me half the time of the original ReThink, but mileage may vary of course. I highly recommend this one if you are into the classic 1st person puzzle games like Portal and especially Talos Principle.
