grafiknya lbh cakep dr yg sebelumnya pdhl yang sebelumnya jg udah bagus. puzzlenya banyak, tp ga susah. untuk cerita bagus, tp ada beberapa yg masih aku bingungin. tp overall aku sukaaa bgt~ seru gamenya
The Brightest Light in the Darkest Tale
A Plague Tale series has held a very special place in my heart ever since the day I randomly discovered A Plague Tale: Innocence. What began as an unexpected discovery became one of the most emotional journeys I have ever experienced in a video game. Amicia and Hugo's journey was one hell of a ride - filled with love, loss, suffering, and devastating forces far beyond their understanding. At its heart was something incredibly simple yet powerful: the unbreakable bond between a sister and her brother. A bond that somehow prevailed through the cycles of history, as the same tragedy continued to repeat itself. And now, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy adds another mark to that journey. This time, we experience new story from a different perspective - through the eyes of someone who carried her own scars, her own nightmares... Sophia. What a beautiful character. What a beautiful story. And yet, beneath it all, what a terrifying one. Since A Plague Tale: Requiem, Sophia has been one of my favorite characters in the series. There was always something about her presence, her confidence, and especially her smile that made it difficult to imagine just how much tragedy she had carried throughout her life. Sophia was a survivor long before we ever met her. Since childhood, she was subjected to experimentation. Her mother abandoned her. Her father sacrificed everything to protect her from the nightmares surrounding her. She lost almost everyone she cared about, endured things no child should ever have to endure, and somehow... she kept standing. There is a particular kind of strength in people who have suffered deeply but refuse to let that suffering become someone else's burden. Sophia embodies that beautifully. She doesn't walk around showing the world everything she has endured. Instead, she carries it quietly, choosing to protect others from the pain she knows all too well. The people who have suffered the most are sometimes the ones who smile the brightest - not because they have forgotten their pain, but because they never want someone else to suffer the way they did. I absolutely loved how Resonance expands the lore surrounding the Prima Macula, taking us further back into history than we could have imagined. The way the story reaches into ancient mythology and crosses paths with the legend of Theseus and the Minotaur was fascinating. The symbolism surrounding Ariadne, Theseus, the labyrinth, and the recurring themes of sacrifice and sibling love gives the entire series an even deeper meaning. Because beneath all the mythology, the rats, the Macula, the monsters, and the horrors of history, A Plague Tale has always been about family. That idea has been the heart of this franchise from the very beginning, and Legacy carries it forward beautifully. One of the aspects that made this game even more satisfying for me was the combat that isn't trying to be some incredibly elaborate system filled with flashy combos or complicated mechanics. It is actually quite simple - basic, direct, and easy to understand... simplicity that makes it feel even better. Everything feels smooth and responsive, and there is something genuinely satisfying about finally being able to go toe-to-toe with enemies rather than always having to rely on the shadows. The previous games placed a much heavier emphasis on stealth, which made sense for the kind of story they were telling. But Legacy gives us the opportunity to experience a different side of this world. This time, we can meet our enemies head-on. Brute force. Swordsmanship. Close-quarters combat. And yet, despite having that freedom to fight, stealth remains one of the most beautiful mechanics in the game. Especially when you are being hunted by those terrifying creatures. The contrast between becoming the hunter and becoming the hunted makes the gameplay incredibly satisfying. Then there is the soundtrack. Olivier Derivière is an absolute master when it comes to video game music. His compositions don't simply accompany the game - they become part of it. The music carries the weight of the narrative, the atmosphere, the characters, and the emotions behind every moment. There were moments where the soundtrack alone was enough to send goosebumps through me. It pulls you deeper into the world until you stop feeling like you're simply playing a game. That is something I have always admired about this series. Asobo Studio doesn't feel like a studio that simply creates games because that is what they do. They feel like people who genuinely care about the stories they tell. They craft these worlds with love. They put passion into the smallest details. And most importantly, they create stories that stay with you forever. And above all, a story about the bond between siblings that refuses to disappear, even when history itself keeps repeating the same tragedy. These are the kinds of stories that become more than games. They become memories. And I know this journey is going to stay with me for a very, very long time. Asobo Studio, take all the time you need. You have my deepest respect, my gratitude, and all the praise you deserve. I'm already looking forward to whatever comes next!
Nejlepší věc za moji dlouhou karieru... bohužel už jsem to hrál a nemužu znovu. Vibe, hudba, okolí... vnaprostý umělecký dílo
Amazing game! I've always loved this series; each game and new story they release about it never fails to amaze me. Waited 4 years for this game to complete it in 4 days! Best 4 days! The story is very well written, and don't even get me started on how beautiful this game is. Over 100 photos taken in photo mode in just one playthrough. About to start my next one, so I'm prepared to take lots more! If you enjoyed the first 2 you will love this one! It does an amazing job telling Sophia's story. It's great at tearing your heart apart, putting it back together, and then tearing it apart again. I don't know how else to convince you to buy the game, but please do!! It's worth it!
I really loved this game and the more I think about the story after finishing the more I find to care about in it. It's not subtle storytelling and occasionally the pacing is a little quick, but it is still beautifully done in a way that ties back in to the original Plague Tale narrative. Nothing quite tops Innocence and Requiem for me, but for a side story in the same universe with unexpected thematic and explicit connections it does a fantastic job. Father and daughter and sibling relationships continue to be strong narrative elements. It's an absolutely gorgeous game from top to bottom, the level design and the music are so atmospheric. Having flashbacks to ancient Greece in the same places where you see the ruins of what had been gives me a wistful longing to visit a time that no longer exists. The character models are beautiful. Sophia already looked fantastic in Requiem and continues to look great here. The dialogue is touching and the way everything fits together in the end is clever. The gameplay is alright. It has the classic plague tale running sequences (nothing backwards though!) with sneaking/timing sections and puzzles interspersed by combat. The combat system is interesting, if simplistic, and rewards exploration. I just wish that it was a little easier to know where to explore and which entrance would continue the main quest with no way to get back. Since I love a good mirror puzzle this was a great game for me, as there are a lot of them. My one gripe is about the controls. I played on PC with keyboard and mouse, which the game warned against with a popup to use a controller, but I'm far more comfortable with KB+M. It was mostly okay except for one move, the focus action, which had the bizarre keybinding of alt+f and was unable to be rebound. Most of my deaths in combat were because I pressed the wrong combo trying to select that. Not really sure why it wasn't in the keybinding options. All in all, a real success for Asobo. I loved this game and the well rounded, fleshed out characters. I loved the development of the female characters especially and I can't wait to see what's next in the plague tale world.
