An interesting experience to go inside the world of Rendezvous. The futuristic near future cyberpunk theme has its own unique charm to it and almost stand out beside other cyberpunk titles. With that said, the game needs some improvement in several aspects to truly bring out the best of it. Some examples of improvement is the UX and how interaction can be presented, like current objective to be displayed so that player have clear goal in mind without having to pause everytime they need a reminder. Gameplay can also be better in the terms of combat/movement. I Feel there's a mix of how the devs wanted to approach the game as an action game, Narrative game or immersive simulator and instead something half baked came out. The general combat Gameplay doesn't feel good currently, and it distracts the player to feel the whole immersion of the world. The world also feels both expansive but confusing to navigate. because of how certain outdoor areas can be visited by entering an intersection of road. Again with the UX probably could convey this better to the players. The cyberpunk world theme is very interesting, but with better gameplay adjustment/improvement, it can be way better.
Overall a pleasant cyberpunk adventure.

Here are my thoughts:
- The visual and aesthetics are the highlight of the game. - The music can be hit or miss. At first I thought there were not many tracks, but as the story progressed and picked up pace, I enjoyed the increased diversity. I also acknowledge this is an indie dev; - The story is not extremely original, but I enjoyed it and was looking forward seeing how the story unfolds; - As with a lot of cyberpunk adventure games, the lore is quite interesting, and the worldbuilding too; - The combat is not good. A lot of the first encounters are basically just trading hits with the opponent and healing occasionally. You can dodge but it's not very reliable. A lot of combat sequences can bug if you enter/leave/reenter an area; - The puzzles were overall good and diversified; - I enjoyed the inclusion of Indonesian culture spread throughout the world; - I enjoyed the voice acting. In this day and age of AI slop, I cherish artists.

I played this game to see the concept of a cyberpunk city atmosphere in Southeast Asia and I really love it. the story can be followed, the puzzles are good enough, I really like that each place and NPC has its own function, it's just that the gameplay can still be polished
gostosinho de jogar , muito bom!
Good story, nice environment that set Surabaya on "Cyberpunk Mode". Game play sure can be improved, good job.
Played Rendezvous for the first time today honestly not knowing what to expect from it. But I ended up having a good time! There are fun puzzles in it and the art style is quite interesting. I really liked the Indonesian influence in it and enjoyed being immersed in a futuristic cyberpunk setting. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys puzzle adventure games!
Cannot move by controller!! I can use the controller on setting page.... But when I play the game... I cannot move! Besides, when have the Chinese version?
good story, good puzzle.. i love how they make the environment of Futuristic Indonesia! But they have to improve the battle mechanism, really hate the battle part
es un buen juego si lo consigues en oferta.
This short narrative based adventure game is not without potential, but too many glaring flaws outweigh the positive aspects. Oh, here's an edit: My X-Box controller won't allow me to move left and right when I start a game session. You can load your savegame, unplug and re-plug in your controller, press left and right on the keyboard, and then usually that fixes things. Repeat as required. The visual design of this game is great overall. The pixelated and faceless characters allow a surprising amount of expressivity with mostly good animations. The backgrounds are very vibrant and detailed, suggesting sprawling US and Filipino cyberpunk cities. I was particularly impressed with the use of lighting which bring everything together. Sound in the game was overall awful. For me this is a big turnoff. Music was simple and repetitive with nice ideas driven into the ground by short music loops. Voiced cutscenes were often unintelligible without subtitles. Human enemies shouting "Hey you!" when they spot you was comically reptitious as well. The game play was also a mixed bag. I think traversal generally was quite slow, with your character either walking a little too sluggishly. This is mitigated by having a run button, unfortunately there is stamina as well, preventing the player from running forever. Perhaps there shouldn't be a stamina gauge during non-fighting sections? If you still plan to get the game, if you tap roll instead of holding it, you can move around quickly without depleting stamina - my own speedrun tech. Combat in the game was terrible, with janky hitboxes and sluggish controls. Some minigames ranged between tedious and broken. A particular scene where you are required to shoot robots while on a boat killed me because the enemies were off screen the whole time - in the end I just held down shoot and eventually/luckily they were killed before my boat died. Another scene had me climbing a series of ladders while avoiding gunshots - unfortunately, it turned out that I had to hold down to go up. I died before I figured that out. Another minigame had me pressing buttons in time to my character's heartbeat in order to lie to another NPC - this was incredibly tedious, irritatingly not in time with music, and only rarely requiring input - I drifted off a few times and I guess missed an input? Failure at any of these required a runback due to janky checkpoints. This sounds like a pile of negativity, doesn't it? I liked the game. I can't recommend it. It was atmospheric. Environments often had NPCs and interactable objects that added to the world-building and lore. The cyberpunk Indonesia setting was spot on with near-future-ised nods to Indonesian culture. Man, give it a try if it's on sale. Game shows some promise, especially if you like cyberpunky stuff. I will be keeping an eye on the dev.
