REMNANT II®

Man, I really loved Remnant 2. This game was just so much fun. The gameplay is easily the best part — the gunplay feels great, the weapons hit hard, and messing around with all the different builds is ridiculously fun. I especially loved playing it in co-op. Even though my friend Crispee COD — yeah, I’m talking about you 😂 — eventually abandoned me, I still had a blast playing solo. I also loved the multiple boss endings and how you can get different rewards depending on how you handle certain bosses. And being able to literally kill a boss and turn it into a gun? Hello Destiny 2, is that you? xD The builds are probably my favorite part. There are so many different ways to play that experimenting with builds never gets boring. I managed to make Apocalypse feel surprisingly easy once I got my builds figured out. Since this is basically my first Soulslike, I really enjoyed the difficulty and the whole experience. Definitely made me want to play more games like this. The biggest negatives for me were having to restart the world over and over to get certain items, the annoying Prism grind, and farming Scrap. The DLCs were also kinda meh for me, except The Awakened King, which was actually really cool. Overall, an absolute blast. 9/10 — would replay for sure.
