Red Spider:Vengeance

本作是《红蜘蛛》系列的第一作，但在整个《红蜘蛛》系列时间线上相当靠后，仅仅比3代靠前。 作者是一个非常狂热的港片爱好者。 由于是第一作，各方面都只是个起步，因此有种六条路线差不多一模一样的感觉。 导致除了主角之外的角色塑造都有些扁平，这些在后续的作品里改头换面。 本作（初代）可以当成乙游玩，但本系列严格意义来讲不是乙游，真的当乙游可能会雷死99%的乙游玩家。 全系列中恋爱感最高的，最不需要思考理解的就是这一作。 如果真的当乙游，女主角越儿（石蒜）基本肯定是乙游女主的战斗力天花板。而且基本上短时间内不可能有超越这个角色塑造的。 她的塑造在本作其实并不算太完整，仅仅体现了战斗力和强悍。 后续的作品更能体现出她有非常强的判断力、政治操作、为人处世、话术谈判、以及坚持“因果报应”的原则。 这个角色作为一个核心主人公，极具人格魅力。 而且这系列还不是众星捧月的作品，而是个群像剧，主角是需要跟各方势力交涉进退的。 她也让这个游戏获得了日本同人游戏大奖中的最佳女主演。 日语版才会有全程语音，不同语言存档不互通。如果懒得打了，官方的YouTube账号上有本系列的全程录屏。 另外可能有妹子不太能理解为什么女主会对丈夫要死要活，这个答案其实留在2代，且需要一定的理解能力。

It's a nice little straightforward narrative. I find people are a little too sympathetic for thugs and killers (but that's a stapple of the genre) and I'd kind of whishes we'd seen more of the 'bad' (bad_er?) guys honnestly, would have liked to see a little more of Lau and shrewd Lou. Things fall a little too neatly into place for my taste byt he end, gets a tad too sappy too. But hey, for the value I payed for it (ie nothing), it was still worth a playthrough
