Recursive Hate - Spider Hell

I can tell that this game is obviously abandoned and probably won't be worked on anymore, but I think that the concept for this game is actually pretty cool and it really only needs some polishing. First off, I can very obviously tell that this game uses a bunch of pre-made assets as I've seen these exact character models used in another game. I don't think that's bad, this is clearly the creator's first proper game so it's perfectly fine to use pre-made stuff, especially if it's a free game. Second, the feel of everything is actually pretty nice, the movement is alright, the guns feel good, the spiders are scary as heck. But I do have a few issues: The spiders seem to ragdoll around a bit insead of feeling like how an actual spider would drop, making it feels odd when you kill a spider. The movement feels a little stiff, not a lot but it's pretty noticable. The spider variety is odd, I can tell that the choices of how the spiders act and are difficulty wise is simply because the creator just wanted to test enemies instead of making it a bit more balanced on wave based combat. The only MAJOR issue I have is that there is no skip buttons for starting a game or going to the next wave early. If the creator suddenly comes back to work on this game, please make a skip button, the rest of the stuff is fine but a skip button would make this so much better... TL;DR: I give it a 7/10, good concept with alright execution and only slight issues. Great for a creator's first proper game.
