It's a quality metroidvania. The story's nice enough for having mostly 0 dialogue. The music, the combat, and the boss designs are pretty good. My only real complaint is that it's just annoying to me to take damage from walking into an enemy, despite them not launching any attack, but that's just a staple of most metroidvanias. It's not a negative, so much as a personal preference.

It’s a great game. It’s really interesting to see how much it actually feels like a sequel to Touhou Luna Nights because, how it feels, how it looks, how it plays, and how it sounds. And I don’t mean that negatively at all. You can really tell how much they learned from the previous game and turned that into an even better experience. Everything just feels right, and the gameplay is so smooth you just glide through the levels and have fun. Two things I still preferred in Luna Nights, were the soundtrack (which is an unfair comparison, I know) and the combat system. I really liked how Luna Nights used the time stop mechanics and how every enemy encounter was designed around it, it made the game feel quite unique. In comparison, Wonder Labyrinth feels a bit more conventional. Sure, switching elements Ikaruga style to avoid damage from certain attacks is cool, but I felt it wasn’t used enough and there was more potential there. But that’s really just a minor point that didn’t bother me in the end, because everything else is spot on. I haven’t watched the anime in years, and i think i'm going to do that again.
Short and sweet but still checks all the boxes of a good metroidvania.
