Surprisingly cute, good bit of automation and exploration. Fairly grindy, but I think it a mostly-good-way.
Cozy automation game! Really enjoying it!
This game has charm and potential. other than that i feel it fell flat on its face. the automation is tedious and far to simplistic. actual automating things is basically pointless because all the things that could be automated take about 5 minutes to do by hand, you usually would spend more time setting up the system then you would by just going around picking things up manually and depositing them. also the game randomly crashed on me one time, and ive heard others complain about that too. however it wasn't a major problem for me. the only task that i ended up automating cause it would've taken awhile by hand was to chop down trees, however it wasn't a task that i had to do repeatedly, i just had to cut down trees until a certain number were left, then the automation became pointless. frankly i think the game really needs a system where you can sell the products consistently, thus incentivising you to set up a production line. however, in my play through i found nothing of the sort (i got about 1 hour and 30 minutes i) every thing that could be automated would be done in half the time it would take to set up. and there was no real reason to reuse factories because half the time you cant. in short. the automation game, fails to make the player want to automate. 4/10

Cute engineering porn.
Reboots is an automation game that initially charmed me with the demo in ways that I expected the game to expand upon in the full game. However getting into the game proper (which unfortunately took longer than two hours) it's become apparent to me that the developers did not understand the limits of the tools the player has been given. There is basically a point where I feel like I've gotten to a chicken and egg like scenario, where I need large amounts of resources to build the infrastructure required to be automating large amounts of resources. This situation is mainly the fault of the fact that the developers have decided that you can only filter what robots do after they have already picked up a resource and committed to taking it somewhere and leaving the player with very few options to deal with an excess or imbalance of items. Your only means of storage early to mid game is a trailer that's meant for taking only 6 types of items between asteroids, or dumping the items somewhere else on the asteroid in a very space-inefficient pile. Right now it's frankly a nothing but frustrating experience trying to separate out the items you actually want on an asteroid from the unending junk that you don't need and can't easily get rid of. Maybe I'll re-visit the game if they added a Trash to destroy excess items, or a way to tell robots to only pick up certain items. Otherwise I cannot recommend this game to anyone interested in the automation game this tries to be and fails.
Good and silly game with eye for details and, yeah, silliness. If you like exploring, setting up production chains and, yeah, silliness. Then this if for you, if not go somewhere else to be serious :D
I really want to like this game but it's too cumbersome to be enjoyable. Up until you started making complicated recipes, it was usually faster to just manually do something than to have to setup the proper robot loop to do it for you. Thank you for including a demo as that was what convinced me to buy the game in the first place. The game itself is fine, it's just not very fun to play. Grade: C
