About
Rebel Galaxy is a swashbuckling space adventure, with action-packed combat, exploration, discovery, trade, and “negotiation” with the outlandish denizens at the edge of the known universe.
As the commander of an immensely powerful star destroyer, you’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer – or maybe a little of each! Buy larger and more powerful craft with your hard-earned credits, and outfit them with a variety of wicked weapons and defenses. Set in a galaxy of fantastic sights, and secrets to be found, Rebel Galaxy is above all a space epic of adventure, exploration, and combat.
The edge of the universe is a pretty dangerous place, so watch your back.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is fun, plane and simple and the music is cool. music fits the game.I use to play this game on my old playstation.
game's pretty good. combat is a little tricky to get used to, and becomes very samey after a while. Going from place to place is annoying when you exit warp every 10 seconds because you got too close to an asteroid field or ran into an enemy patrol, and certain mission types that involve protecting an AI are infuriating beyond belief. other than that, its got some cool music and a story that doesn't make me want to ignore it. core mechanics remind me of Galaxy on Fire 2 which is a game i very much enjoy, so i recommend if you like flying a spaceship and shooting things.
good
Love the Firefly/space trucker vides. Great all-round space sim. Not as heavy as the X series. Great fun!!!
The music has a fun, grimy space western vibe thanks to Blues Saraceno dominating the soundtrack, the story is a little cookie-cutter and ends kind of abruptly but it's a fun romp while it lasts (plus it seems to have at least one point where the paths branch out), and trading is kept interesting by dynamically changing prices and sale values across stations, but the biggest thing is combat. It's a little unintuitive, and mouse/keyboard controls can be a bit of a pain, but it's honestly one of the most unique space combat systems I've seen, and it manages to make it work pretty well. Once you figure out how broadsides, secondaries, and the various types of turret work and cooperate, it's pretty fun wading into the big space battles and tearing into one of the beefier capital class enemies while your missiles and turrets, and hired mercenary drop fighters like flies. The fact you can also proactively choose to rob traders en route to other stations - or go mining for raw material yourself, or just salvage the junk fields - is also a big plus in my book, even if combat-centric playstyles are the most rewarded. It can also be annoying as all hell though. At times, the game felt like a sequence of beef gates broken up by grinding for the next ship or whatever weapon or defenses I desperately needed for the new area, and certain enemies spam seeking projectiles - ones that you cannot shoot down without a specific upgrade (and even then, you'll only have like a second between the auto aim realizing it's there and it hitting you in the ass) or meaningfully outrun - that will kill your speed and slow you to a crawl. A death sentence for smaller ships, and just plain inconvenient for the bigger ones. The fact you cannot enter warp when too close to asteroids and debris or when you're too close to hostiles is also a little frustrating. It's an appreciated bit of in-universe consistency at first IMO, but once you try to go through your fiftieth junk or asteroid field, it's long since gotten old. Aside from all of that, the game is also ever so slightly unstable. I've had mercenaries explode on me for no reason. I've had enemies appear INSIDE my ship, stopping me in my tracks and causing continuous impact damage. I've had escort targets just putz around in a circle, looking for the perfect warp angle, while the destination area was within render distance. In one case, a static, non-generated mission to help some mercenaries on an escort mission turned out to have set the destination as a HOSTILE station, which promptly began firing on me and the escort target. Aside from ALL that though - I finished it. I played long enough to engage with all the factions you can get buddy-buddy with, and I grabbed all the achievements. I had fun the whole time, even if it pissed me off when something went wrong. In short, the game is fun, and I recommend it if you're a fan of space westerns, but holy ♥♥♥♥ does it need some extra dev attention and anti-frustration measures.
A little older now but there is still a lot of gold to be found in this game. Good times to be had flying about, exploring, fighting pirates, mining, trading and just looking at the beautiful space the devs built for this. Still runs well, and some of the mod community is still around after all this time. Worth picking up if you like Space Sims that are a little on the lighter side.
