Short and sweet. Only about an hour or so of playtime but its actually really good. The music was nice and the characters were well designed too.
I Honestly found the game so fun ! it's not that long as it usually have an average playtime of 2-3h and linear so it is quite easy to follow and there's no need to guess the true ending. I found what i wanted (even if it was quite easy to guess in my opinion) I still had fun even after guessing correctly and i have no regret spending my night on it in a way ! Honestly if you want a dark story, a brutally honest grim reaper protagonist (that does change from a date with death/j) and not overthink it could be your game ! Beside it is the best time to play it as it is the season; Anyways it's free so there's nothing to lose anyways ! Oh and for thoses complaining about not finding the skip button for the under 10min achievement well there's one do check the options section it have the controls with multiples possibilities !

Definitely play this if you are in the mood to solve a Halloween murder mystery! It runs about 2 hours and is very well done, especially for free. I'd like to see a sequel with Grea, the Reaper girl. * You can solve the mystery yourself. The game tracks a list of clues you can review. * The setting around reapers, which is explained in the opening, is interesting. * Mio! Her kasa-obake (Japanese umbrella youkai) outfit is super cute! Someone should cosplay it and rig up the eyeball and tongue. * Has all the functionality you'd expect from a visual novel: history, save/load, skip text, keyboard shortcuts. There are also settings for text speed and more. * Music is good. There are a few really minor nitpicks. * Navigating the list of clues with keyboard doesn't work well. First, when you go to the Clues screen, Up/Down don't do anything. You first have to press Left arrow to get focus on the back button, then press Right to get focus in the list. Second, the list doesn't scroll with Up/Down, though you can instead use Page Up/Down. * The story explains why
they don't just call the police
, but how it plays out is slightly rough. * The
skeleton models should have been more realistic.
Quite an engaging game, the type you can easily finish in one section and keeps you hooked the whole time. There weren't any slow or boring moments and the reveal was interesting. Just know that this isn't the type of game with any choices or anything, but I honestly think it's better for it, the choices would just feel like the MC has no agency when she is meant to be smart enough to easily solve it herself, no point in having you click wrong answers or anything. I'd recommend.
Loved it! I enjoyed this story, it's very engaging. Nicely done, the illustrations and animations are awesome and i loved the style of the gameplay. I also enjoyed the fact that each character has their own personality and stood out from each other. You actually feel for them and grow to love them. I def reccomend playing and I will be uploading my gameplay to my kilcitykitty channel via YT
Cute game, better writing than some other free VNs I've played before. That said, I don't think the game really helps you decipher the mystery at all, which wasn't a problem for me because although I couldn't crack the murder, I was too intrigued - and entertained - to be bothered. Took me a little longer to finish because I was doing two things at the same time but yeah, I'd say it's a good pastime.
Reaplaced Recommended Length: Very Short (<5 hours) Number of Routes: 1 Choices: Yes* Failure Possible: No Character Rating: Pretty Decent Story Progression: Good Chaotic Elements: Yes Music Rating: Decent Achievement Difficulty: 1 Additional Thoughts: A decent overall free halloween themed VN that i kinda sat on in my library for 2 years before giving it a read finally (although meant to read it when it first released, think it was kinda past halloween then among other reasons). It is rather linear even though there are choices in this, its more "i want to read things in this order" kind of choices where every option gets selected. Wouldn't have minded if there was an option to guess near the end based on the clues collected, and even if you got it wrong would have still resulted in the same ending.
This is a pretty short VN, but it was surprisingly good. The one thing I was wanting was a stronger use of the clue system. It would have been neat to have to deduce what happened to progress the game.
A good mystery fantasy murderer story with amusing characters. The ending was surprising, but fitting for the characters.
