About
VEIL OF MIST AND RAIN
CRYSTALS BLOOM IN SILVER LIGHT
PROFITS RISE LIKE STARS
Sent to a foggy planet as a contractor, your only way out is to gather enough money for the fly back home. Beware the rain that always seems to follow you and listen for its messages.
Smash crystals, dodge rain, make money, upgrade your equipment, keep going.
When will you go back home?
I made this by myself in around a month so don't expect a very long game, the playtime is around a couple of hours!

a really fun and interesting little resource gathering capitalist nightmare type of game, really cool visual and audio style and fun to build up in even after winning, definitely pick up if you're down for a short afternoon of smashing rocks
Love the atmosphere of this mining game, can't wait to be called a ore knight.
Had this on my wishlist for a while, decided to give it a try at some point after realizing it is kind of an upgrade incremental game so was curious to see how it goes. Unfortunately I immediately managed to softlock myself by starting to collect crystals before picking the quest, and I was unable to offload them anywhere without restarting or dying I guess. I didn't die once. I think it's way too shallow and loborious at the same time, you are not really getting more money from crystals, you can just haul more and maybe get them faster, but money still is kind of linear, it seems? Or I didnt realize that maybe I needed to upgrade the deposit point. Game's visual language with bold blue color is kinda interesting but also extremely bland, no characters and no character to it really, just shapes with default lighting. Been trying to use active bomb item and it kept just not casting almost ever and launching at some arbitrary moment of me trying to do it, on some random click, rather than reliably launching at first click. Didn't bother advancing more than I did because it'd be just very repetetive and start to hurt my finger in clicking and holding for perfect strikes. I think I was expecting something better from this considering how unusual the visuals are at a glance, but it ended up pretty shallow and loborious with the quest system that doesnt track anything retroactively and is gatekeeping your progression for a while
